  1. Thank you so much for your response MdX MaxX. It was very helpful.
  2. Windows comes with a lot of programs, do I need those on the ssd? On mine I think it was like 25gb for some reason. I don't want the files. Should I still back them up? It means that I want to completely start over with the software side of my pc. Do I really need all of my programs? I would rather have games. Thank you everyone!
  3. Hey guys, here is my situation. I just finished building my first pc gaming rig, so I went to install Windows 7, drivers and apps. Everything was going fine until, I realized that all of the files and apps were loading onto my ssd. I tried to change this, and ended moved around tons of files. Because this is my first PC, I really didn't know what I was doing so now I have a messy, 3 hour old, confusing pc. Is it possible to restore windows to factory settings with one oem disk that has already been registered? Also will this delete all of the files on my drives, and put the main files back where they should be, (I want this to happen)? And does it matter that I already registered my motherboard? I am really worried that I will need to buy another windows 7, or live with a cluttered pc. All help is appreciated. PS. I also need help figuring out a way to organize files between my 64gb ssd and my 1tb hdd. (I want windows on the ssd) But the questions above are more important.
  4. Thanks for that part of my post, but my real concern was with the CPU. Ivy bridge i5 3570k or Haswell i5 4670k, for gaming and schoolwork?
  5. Hello guys, I am building my first gaming PC after school gets out, and I need help with the processor. My original plan was the Ivy Bridge i5 3570k, but now with haswell out I wonder if I should instead purchase the haswell i5 4670k. I will be running games like skyrim, civ 5, portal 2, and battlefield 4, with a radeon 7870 (xfx). Finally, I heard that AMD is so cheap because they are known to damage easily, is that true. Thanks. PS. This is off topic, but which brand of a radeon 7870 is best. Right now I am looking XFX.
