  1. oh well... it wouldn't matter then if G3 or G2?
  2. I assume this is the "successor": https://pcpartpicker.com/product/Y3X2FT/evga-supernova-g3-eu-550w-80-gold-certified-fully-modular-atx-power-supply-220-g3-0550-y3 is it not same or even better? I only need smth that doesn't light up my home.
  3. So, I am upgrading to a CPU: Ryzen 5 2600 MOBO: MSI Tomahawk b450 RAM: G.Skill - Aegis 16 GB (2 x 8 GB) DDR4-3000 Memory SSD: Cruicial MX500 HDD: from my old build but maybe later a 2nd HDD with 2TB/3TB GPU: Sapphire Radeon 580 Nitro+ I am now searching for a PSU that is reliable... I found these interesting but are they reliable or should I take another one..and why? I like it to be fully or atleast semi modular. be quiet! - Straight Power 11 550 W 80+ Gold SeaSonic - EVO Edition 620 W 80+ Bronze Certified Fully Modular and yes, I know Ryzen 3xxx is dropping in a couple weeks..but I don't care..as I will only wait for it to make stuff cheaper (and because the newest Ryzen is out of budget)
  4. I decided that I won't be going with the new Ryzen chipsets but will wait till they are out so my part list will look like this now: Motherboard: MSI B450 Tomahawk CPU: RYZEN 5 2600 SSD: Cruicial MX500 RAM: GSkill Aegis 16GB 3000mhz I will get the Sapphire 580 graphics card aswell...but now I am looking for a cheap but reliable PSU .. I think 550 - 650 W should be enough..any recommendations?
  5. Well yea I can't watch too since it will be while I am sleeping ..so I wil just wait for coverage of it... I am just confused since alot of people are recommending me to wait for that event..but if there are any better components introduced...don't they usually take some time til they reach the market? I mean..I am not an US citizen afterall--
  6. ok thank you...i will first wait that computex? and then I will decide
  7. Is it better compatible than a GTX?? Also does it matter what brand for Ram I should take? This kinda graphics? MSI Radeon RX 580 ARMOR 8G OC or MSI Radeon RX 570 ARMOR 8G OC
  8. ok, I will wait then for the few hours to pass by
  9. Hello Community, So I am trying to upgrade from a kinda old PC and I only need to swap out the motherboard, Ram, Graphics card and CPU. I know my Power supply is sufficient (650 W from Be quiet, modular) so I don't really need a new one..you may suggest one if you wish to do so tho. Below I listed some parts that sound good to me..you may suggest better parts tho if you feel it's abit bad. I usually do light gaming on my PC (like Tomb Raider Shadow of the smth, Assaissins Creed Origin, etc) since I mainly play on my PS4 (yes..please don't bash me) and mainly surfing and watching videos. I listed the SDD and HDD because I plan on installing my OS to the SDD as a clean install or imported/transfered from my current mechanical drive. I have no clue how to do so tho. CPU : AMD Ryzen 5 2600 Motherboard: MSI B450 Tomahawk Ram: Gskill 16GB DDR4-3200 Graphic: Zotac GTX 1050 TI OC SDD: Cruical MX500 500gb HDD: WD Blue 4TB Any help would be appreciated..thanks!
  10. why the RX 480? I thought the AMD GPU is best with AMD CPU? While the GTX GPU is better with the Intel CPU?
  11. why the RX 480? Is it still ok if I use the 6400 version of the i5? other than that I like what you wrote down. Another question is..if the mainboard only supports DDR4 2133 then why you recommend me a DDR4 2400? Also since i am NOT going to overclock..I don't need an aftermarket fan..right? Sorry for stupid questions...
  12. Hi, So I want to buy and build a new PC again.. Budget is around 700 to 850 Euro (Austria) I already have some in mind but still need help .. I hope you guys can help me out. I put PCPartpicker links as reference only..because it's useless if I use them for pricing as prices are different in america/uk/australia/canada then where I am. CPU: i5 - 6400 (https://pcpartpicker.com/product/rK4NnQ/intel-cpu-bx80662i56400) Power Supply: EVGA 650W Supernova 650GQ Modular ( 80 + Gold ) (didn't find on pcpartpicker but this here is closest: https://pcpartpicker.com/product/h3FXsY/evga-power-supply-220gs0650v1) RaM: Gskill Aegis 8gb (https://pcpartpicker.com/product/6NcMnQ/gskill-memory-f42133c15d8gis) Mainboard: Gigabyte GA - H110M - S2H (https://pcpartpicker.com/product/8QPzK8/gigabyte-ga-h110m-s2h-micro-atx-lga1151-motherboard-ga-h110m-s2h) Harddrive: Seagate SSHD 1TB (https://pcpartpicker.com/product/ftPfrH/seagate-internal-hard-drive-st1000dx001) Case: Fractal Design Core 1000 (https://pcpartpicker.com/product/KPw323/fractal-design-case-fdcacore1000usb3bl) Now with the Graphics cards..I have some on thought..but I wonder which one would be the best for this build... My Choices: Gigabyte GeForce GTX 1060 3GB 3GB Windforce OC (https://pcpartpicker.com/product/7bL7YJ/gigabyte-geforce-gtx-1060-3gb-windforce-oc-video-card-gv-n1060wf2oc-3gd) MSI GeForce GTX 1050 Ti 4GB GAMING (https://pcpartpicker.com/product/H97CmG/msi-geforce-gtx-1050-ti-4gb-gaming-x-4g-video-card-gtx-1050-ti-gaming-x-4g) Gigabyte Radeon RX 480 8GB (https://pcpartpicker.com/product/W34NnQ/gigabyte-radeon-rx-480-8gb-g1-gaming-video-card-gv-rx480g1-gaming-8gd) So how would that configuration work out? Good or not? It is mainly used for games like League of Legends, Star Craft 2, Overwatch, CS:GO and GTV 5 Please also recommend me a good monitor in the 200 and below range. Thanks
