Get out of your cave bro

Use the audio-jacks in the back I/O, not the front, the front ones are terrible also try to use a different DIMM-slot for that ram if nothing does it for you - maybe it's time to send it back or something. Motherboards shouldn't have these issues these days. Hope I could help Happy for your first build bro - have fun with it!
-
I just realised it would be easiest if you do: Put both sticks in the other color slots and if you don' need more than those you're fine to go even if they are broken. if that doesn't help Use one stick at a time and try every ram port and so you will find which is broken

I feel ya bro! Shit happens right... That's why Linus always says try everything out before putting it in the case so it becomes easier to dissassembly..

Boohooo! LMAO No need to rage like a kid dude - I wasn't trying to make anyone mad srsly, even tho this is fun Also my father never was a gamer + no need to insult anyone from my family Also everybody knows that overclocking is kinda risky so whatever Also modding on pc is much more popular and easy for users of the mods so that's that Even tho consoles can emulate older consoles which I never heard of - they don't have the possibility of emulating all the old consoles like pc does it's just much more usefull and easy on pc @LokiFire btw good thing you're a pc gamer and a console gamer, you have the best of both worlds - no need to rage or anything, I'm trying to have a peaceful and inteligent conversation with fellow tech enthusiasts and gamers - we're supposed to be helping each other dude, not fucking disrespecting each others families. you acting like a bitch is the reason I was convinced you're a console peasant so stop that and calm down thanks Exactly what I'm saying AND you're completely right - to each their own... I'm not hating on consoles, They're still simple to buy simple to use, sit on the couch, lay back & just chill Consoles are perfect in that regard. Not everybody wants to go through choosing all the parts and learning everything & all the shit that comes with pc and I respect that. It's just for a little more work - which is fun for most of us! because we are enthusiasts you can get more usefulness and functionality. and you can still get the sit & on the couch & just chill experience with pc it's just not as simple as buying and plugging in like with consoles.

What do you want to use it for? Also what other choices do you have?
-
what about cpu-z Linus always recommends aida64 I think but it costs money try those
-
first of all make sure you put them in same color coded ram ports - red red or grey grey or whatever anyway just try out different ram ports with them sticks you will be able to find out if one of the ram sticks is fucked or if it is one of your mobo ram ports maybe but improbable is that both are fucked hope I could help

Zipties color and length option
Monkeyfightah replied to Mr Fister's topic in New Builds and Planning
Just choose whatever fits your setup with color. - Buying a pack with more colors is good if there are all the colors included that you need. Otherwise - buy them seperately Black goes with everything - no different with zipties White is also good pretty much for most things You can mix things up more if you want something fancy but Black/White + your color of choice should be good for most part. Length doesn't matter because you will cut them off after finished -
First of all my friend - I'm not hating on anything. If you enjoy your consoles I'm glad for you. I was just pointing out an opinion I haven't seen yet. If you can get those older consoles so inexpensively which I didn't know - COOL! Also general hardware failure on PC is able to be fixed by the user most of the time - which doesn't cost money and you don't need a lot of knowledge and experience for a specific device. A lot of the times just restart or put new thermal paste

DOS games dude? those could be emulated waaaaay back in my childhood... DOSBOX FTW! I can emulate PSP on my phone nowadays.. I bet PS3 emulators are existent already... Cool shit bro
-
Srsly.. if your PS3 still works and it works fine and dandy - good for you! I hope it will run forever but it is very likely.. and when it's dead - you won't be able to play those games. That's the point I was trying to make. Maybe you won't care about those games.
-
Pretty much Unless we're going to see some unpredictable totally fucked up change that is improbable af
-
Yea that's right
