  • Biography
An optomist on the outside and a pessemist on the inside. A quote from freinds is "a well spoken, crazy awesome persone" however I just see myself as polite yet out there :) I grew up playing games whenever I could, my first comsole was the gameboy advanced which if there was a playtime counter, it would be way higher than average, i rocked kirby (nightmare in dreamland), pokemon red and tetris, then i moved to ps2 wich again took a large chunk of my life, i masterd my game at guitar hero, Toca, some random ski game, rayman 1, 2 and 3, tonyhawk underground 1 and 2 and tons of PS1 demo disks. i then moved to wii and DS but they were my darker years in gaming as i only play wii sports, the bad side of guitar hero and a little better, de blob, oh and 100% mario cart in two weeks :). i moved to DS lite where i spent most of my time on pokemon again only to be disapointed as it was black, which didnt stop me from getting black 2, i then realsised gold and silver were a thing, i then played dimond and pearl, then platinum. on each game i wasent far off getting all the pokemons. I then recieved an Xbox 360 which was absolute the bomb. One Billion hours on whatever game i got my hands on, but one game that caught my eye was minecraft. I had a fling with minecraft, back when it was only starting to be mocked, its what helped me descover pc gaming. I begged for a solid year for a new computer as all we had was a 9 year old laptop with a single GB of ram (yeah that bad), i made countless powerpoint at school, i helped out a ton more and finally they decieded to get one, i started planing the parts with my extreamly limeted knolage and we went to ccl to discus, we ended up getting a cheep gaming prebuilt but i didnt know any diffrent. From there i carnt say its taken a lot of time out of my life, because it practically is my life and everything else takes away from it. But as much as i love it, i must go on a quest to get a dream build.

  1. Sorry about my speeling and grammer im dyslexic, i did try my hardest and spent a long time on it I promise , and I have an open mind to the budget howerver for the graphics card to surpass the quality of the imbuilt graphics it would have to be at least above £110 new. Thanks for all the help I was also thinking about saving for the Strix 970 but i just didnt think id need it with the current parts i have and its a 500W i think but there isent much information on it, most things are unbranded
  2. Hey, so i really need to upgrade my rig, I got a (dreaded) prebuilt a couple of years back with an (even more so dreaded) APU. I speand most of my time making fantasy builds and maximizing my knolage of computer hardware mainly, and am also taking computer science and ICT Extended diploma to do so however I am a giant fangirl of the linus tech group as they have helped me dramaticly. My love for PC's came after I found PC gaming which really helped me to cope with some of my problems, which drove me to get a job to save and one day get my dream rig, however my money can not be saved as it is speant on board and things that break around the house as my mum and dad strugle for money. So to get to my point I need to select the correct GPU to fit my amd a10-5800k APU, its 3.8GHz Quad core with two 2MB Cashe, so what graphics card could i get to get close to bottle necking, but to not bottle neck, to get the most out of my situation. I was going around the line of the Asus GTX 660 but wasent sure where that would land on the scale. So if you can help would be greatly apreasiated. Thanks
