  1. I'm seriously scratching my head to whether I would see improvement with an M.2 950/850 drive on my Z97-Pro over a conventional SSD 850 Evo. I've seen people get similar results with these drives: Samsung 850 EVO 500GB M.2-2280 Solid State Drive Samsung 850 EVO-Series 500GB 2.5" Solid State Drive Samsung 950 PRO 256GB M.2-2280 Solid State Drive What I'm wondering and what I hope you guys will know is which I should be purchasing and whether I'd see much of a difference in performance. I'm mainly looking at the 500GB evo and the 500GB M.2. My motherboard is: https://www.asus.com/uk/Motherboards/Z97PRO/specifications/ On their website it states that I have "1 x M.2 Socket 3, , with M Key, type 2260/2280 storage devices support". But I'm not sure if that means I can use them, and if I can will it be to their full potential? Thanks in advance
  2. @Lays Sorry for the late reply, I assumed I'd get emailed if someone posted on my thread so here is my regular fire strike with no OC straight out of box only CPU OC. http://www.3dmark.com/3dm/10046947?
  3. @Lays So I went for the 980TI Matrix, then tried to overclock it and my results in furmark went down as the clock speed and memory clock went up, I know nothing of GPU overclocking so this struck me as wrong. so I undid it and got a higher score. Here is my 3DMark score: http://www.3dmark.com/fs/7020033 Can you tell me whether this is respectable and what I can do to improve my performance?
  4. @Lays, Top quality graphics card. And top quality music Looking forward to that guide!
  5. That is very impressive, I am leaning towards the Matrix, and to have the fastest single GPU in the LTT forums is also very impressive. If I was to get this card could you recommend an over clocking guide or maybe your own guide?
  6. Hi, I'm sure you've had countless posts on this topic but since the Matrix 980 IT came out I wondered if anyone re-thought their idea on which card is the best. I am not exactly on a budget and do not mind if the better card comes with water cooling like the hybrids I've been seeing. However I am looking to purchase one soon so I was wondering if you guys had any ideas which would be the best, I'm not looking for the best price but performance. Any help would be much appreciated!
