  1. So Ive been looking to pick up an ssd for my ASUS FX504G laptop. And i was wondering if there was anything else i had to look out for other than the ssd's size?I checked asus's site and the laptop does support additional ssd's.Is there a type of ssd that only works in laptops or all ssd should work if it fits and the laptop has proper connection to it?
  2. Hey uhm 1 more question. If i go to my motherboards supported ram documentation next to my future ram (the 16gb kit).Under the DIMM socket support the "1 DIMM" option has a dot under it.What does it mean? Here is the link to the documentation : https://dlcdnets.asus.com/pub/ASUS/mb/SocketAM4/PRIME_A320M-E/Memory_QVL_For_Ryzen_1st_Gen_Processors.pdf Here is the name of the ram: F4-3000C16D-16GISB
  3. alright thanks I will definitely read that article
  4. Thank u for the answers guys. I will buy that kit than and report back if it improves the performance and by how much roughly.(Tho i will only order it on the 10th so yeah). Is there any way to know roughly how much performance increase will i see or does it come down to each specific system?
  5. So would that dual channel kit work i linked before?
  6. Yes the ram in right now is single channel 2666mhz. i have pretty much checked every other options and this is the only thing that is missing.
  7. My spec: CPU :Ryzen 5 1600 stock speed GPU : Sapphire Radeon rx580 4gb Ram: Ballistix Elite 8GB 2666mhz Single stick -- running at 2666mhz Motherboard : Asus PRIME B350M-K --- https://www.asus.com/Motherboards/PRIME-B350M-K/HelpDesk_QVL/ Right now i am experiencing lacking performance when it comes to gaming on this system. The only possible solution i have found is that my single channel ram is bottlenecking my system. For example: CSGO -- dipping to 100 frames and not reaching 300 on low settings 4:3 (I understand that csgo cant use all the cores etc. but i still see several ppl getting 300+ frames on the same build) R6 -- mostly low settings 1920x1080 res and not getting more than 160fps and dipping into the low 100's. I was wondering if that could really be the case. I have found a possible upgrade (considering my budget) . https://www.amazon.com/G-Skill-PC4-24000-3000MHz-Platform-F4-3000C16D-16GISB/dp/B01IW7Z66U This ram kit got really good reviews from buyers and every local shop rates it good. I was wondering if my motherboard supports it and is my cpu compatible with it. And does upgrading to dual channel will really give me better performance and if so is there any way to say by how much?
  8. I meant the 3a that u mentioned. I think i will stick to the 7 pro that u recommended. I looked it up and i like it as for the first impression.
  9. Do you know anything about the Huawei P30 Lite? I dont really like the Google Pixel so i will pass on it i think.
  10. There really isn't an upper limit right now(that's mainly because i am looking to buy it from TMobile(network provider? i dont know if it exists there). I am only looking for options right now. By the drama stuff i meant that huawei no longer has access to android if my information is correct.
  11. I am looking to buy a new phone to replace my old Iphone 7+. I'd like to switch to android. What i am really looking for in the new phone is battery life and performance and I don't really care about the camera. Can you guys recommend me some options? My friends recommended the OnePlus 6 and OnePlus 6T so far. Are those any good in the battery life and performance aspect? Is it okay to buy a huawei phone after the android drama stuff happened?
  12. I know its a lot better card but for some reason the performance of the gtx960 is nowhere near as good as it should be . I wonder if dust can cause this serious performance drop because its been a time since i cleared it and i am also imzerested if its a problem that the card is pcie3 and the m.board has a pcie2x16 slot
