  2. Hi there, pc masters A while back I got my first pc form my grandpa, he used to use it for video editing(so not your average grandpa pc) But it has been 5 years or so since it has been build and the Gpu isn't keeping up with current games. So I'm planning a upgrade, here is the pc:http://pcpartpicker.com/user/Willem_Me/saved/fjtxFT (the ram has been upgraded lately from 4 to 16, dads choice) I'm planning on getting a RX 480 8gb (No board manufacturer yet) my question now is how much will my CPU + MoBo bottleneck it, to much? And do I need to upgrade my CPU and MoBo now with the gpu or can I what and save some money and buy it with in a year. my budget is around 600 € = 670 $ so, -will my mobo bottleneck a RX480 8gb, how much, to much? -can I only upgrade my gpu and wait a bit with cpu + mobo, and if ddr3 or ddr4? Thank you very much, and have a nice day. A dutch starter pc master.
  3. Hi Computer builders I'm planing on building my first gaming pc, I'm still saving some money to build it, I planned to build it in about 6 months. My questions is, will it be good enough when I put it together or should i get some newer stuff that becomes cheaper when I build/buy it? And does my rig work proper or do I get Bottlenecks, and any other advice what i should change to my rig (add/remove, replace) my budget is around 1000€ or 1095 $. at this moment my chosen rig: EDIT V2: On pcpartpicker.com Cpu: Intel Core i5-4690K 3.5GHz Quad-Core Processor Cpu cooler: Cooler Master Hyper 212 EVO 82.9 CFM Sleeve Bearing CPU Cooler Motherboard: MSI Z97-GAMING 5 ATX LGA1150 Motherboard Ram: Kingston HyperX Fury Black 8GB (1 x 8GB) DDR3-1866 Memory SSD: Samsung 850 EVO-Series 250GB 2.5" Solid State Drive HDD: Western Digital Caviar Blue 1TB 3.5" 7200RPM Internal Hard Drive Video card: MSI Radeon R9 390 8GB Video Card Case: Phanteks Enthoo Pro ATX Full Tower Case PSU: Cooler Master VSM 650W 80+ Gold Certified Semi-Modular ATX Power Supply Thanks for the help of the first 4 I think this will be my build need any changes?
