  1. so i guess all of you agree, that it is just fallouts (and my wallets) fault. I either have to buy a better cpu, overclock it or live with the fact, that i'm still not able to run everything at ultra. I had hoped so. I might overclock it but at the time i just don't want to. I have never done anything like it and im not very patient. thanks for the advice. good to know that there is nothing wrong with my build. I wish y'all a good night or a pleasant day.
  2. Hello everyone, I need your ideas about this. I recently updated my rig with a sapphire r9 390 but while playing Fallout 4 I noticed some really low framerates. As you can see in the picture they are in the low twenties way to often for my taste. When I am looking at the sky or at the ground i get 60. At the moment I have everything set at maximum settings. I've tried to lower some settings but actually only the shadow distance makes a difference. Ad medium I get up to 40 fps. Is this normal? Does my CPU limit it and I just have to lower the settings? Or is something wrong here? Fallout4 2016-01-20 16-46-35-56.bmp I have an i5 760 8gb in single channel r9 390

  4. I've tested both sticks. In slot 3 both work ( I only tested this slot because I would have to deinstall my CPU cooler otherwise. Now I put them in Slot 3 and 4 (next to each other, one blue slot and one is white) And now it shows 8GB. But I guess it is nt running in dual channel? Wil it be slower or is it fine?
  5. I already tried reseating the CPU and I don't have another MB
  6. I have also put them in slots 2 and 4 --> no POST just an endless beep I have put them in slots 2 and 3 ---> it was the same as in the picture from my first post just that in DIMM SLOT (MB) the 4gb where written unter 2 and 3 but no other changes. When I change the BCLK this happens:
  7. Hello everyone, I could really use your help. I have no Idea what I should do and also my google search led me to the same question I have on various forums but I could not find an answer. My setup PCPartPicker part list / Price breakdown by merchant CPU: Intel Core i5-760 2.8GHz Quad-Core Processor CPU Cooler: Scythe Mugen 4 79.0 CFM CPU Cooler (€45.57 @ Amazon Deutschland) Motherboard: Gigabyte GA-P55M-UD2 Micro ATX LGA1156 Motherboard Memory: G.Skill Sniper Series 8GB (2 x 4GB) DDR3-1866 Memory (€51.40 @ Mindfactory) Storage: Samsung 840 EVO 120GB 2.5" Solid State Drive Storage: Seagate Barracuda 1TB 3.5" 7200RPM Internal Hard Drive (€54.50 @ Mindfactory) Video Card: Sapphire Radeon R9 390X 8GB Tri-X OC Video Card Case: Xigmatek Utgard ATX Mid Tower Case Wireless Network Adapter: TP-Link TL-WN851ND 802.11b/g/n PCI Wi-Fi Adapter Total: €151.47 Prices include shipping, taxes, and discounts when available Generated by PCPartPicker 2015-12-30 14:37 CET+0100 Now to my problem. I have the two RAM sticks installed in DDR3_1 und DDR3_3. (The to white ones) When I put them in the blue slots the PC won't boot. In this picture you can see that the bios recognizes both sticks but somehow it only enables 1 of them. Windows 8 64b also shows the same. I'm pretty sure that it is not the RAMs fault as I had the same problem with different sticks. Do you have any Idea how I can enable both of them to use the full 8 gb. (I hope you understand what I mean and my english is not that bad.)
  8. Hello there, With all my PC building I've got my girlfriend interested. She asked me if I could build one for her too. So to the facts: Budget: 500€ What she already has: Case (Xigmatek Utgard) PSU: beQuiet 550W Screen: Belinea 10 22 40 (1080p) What she wants: Game (Sims 4, Cities: Skylines etc) I will be buying from mindfactory.de and amazon.de Yes, she also need an OS. Oh, and also a Wifi-card. We don't have cable. Thanks for suggestions.
  9. Do You if the Same cooler will fit in a Bitfenix prodigy?
  10. So I've got two different opinions here. Damn. Well I won't be buying until after the holidays, so I#ve got some time to decide. Maybe there will be some speicial offer. Wish me luck.
  11. I'm talking about 290x vs 390, but I guess it's still in favor of 390? Pity, they 290x looks better
  12. So they are about the same? And it's like 30€ for 8GB VRam?
  13. what about the xfx 290x black edition vs the powercolor 390 I've read a lot about the 290x not supporting dx12, but I don't even know what that exactly is. the 290 is €30 cheaper and would fit nicely in my budget. But if the 390 is much better it is probably worth it. what do you think?
