  1. Looking to build a decent gaming PC for $500 USD (+ or - $30). I want to run current games at 1080p 60ish FPS at med-high settings. However, I do want an intel i5 k CPU over AMD, and i know that'll limit my budget on my GPU and other items. A build with a red/black scheme would be best, no OS and peripherals included in budget. Thank you
  2. No, a friend is willing to give me the RAM CPU & MOBO for $200 total
  3. Yes. I will be needing a graphics card
  4. I'm looking to build a Gaming PC, and I've used a fair chunk of my budget so far on my CPU, RAM, and MB. These are older models, but I've heard nothing but good things about them. For a build that can run most games at medium and the newest at low 1080p 60FPS-ish, does the current items I have look good, or should i upgrade to more current parts. Parts I have so far: http://pcpartpicker.com/p/TRpy6h (I have a friend who is willing to give me the above parts for $200 USD) I would like to get the rest of the components for around an additional $350 USD (excluding peripherals and OS). can you build off the parts I already have and post possible options? If a red/black theme is possible, that would be great. Any feedback on the parts i already have picked is welcome. Thank you.
  5. I've heard that EVGA PSUs are pretty bad, and i would need to purchase a heatsink as well, right?
  6. So I'm planning on building a PC for around $500 (USD), but I don't know what's good and what not to buy. Any help? I'm looking for a rig that can run games like Battlefront and GTA V at medium-low settings at 1080p-60fps. I would need all of the parts (except the peripherals) for a little over $500 TOTAL. OS not included in budget, if at all possible, a red/black theme would be great. Thank you, any help is appreciated.
  7. So about a year ago, I purchased a prebuilt desktop with some inclination to gaming. The PC is a HP 110-a04, So far, i have made no modifications to the system, but to allow for a wider range of games, i'm planning on buying a GPU. The PC's power supply however is only 180W so ill need to upgrade that as well. Here's a link to the specifications of the PC: http://support.hp.com/us-en/document/c04484447 I've been looking at a EVGA 500‑W1‑0500‑KR Power Supply http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00H33SFJU?psc=1&redirect=true&ref_=ox_sc_act_title_2&smid=ATVPDKIKX0DER And for the Graphics, I plan on gettinga GTX 750ti, but i could use a little guidance on who to buy from: ZOTAC NVIDIA GeForce GTX 750 Ti: http://www.amazon.com/ZOTAC-NVIDIA-GeForce-PCI-Express-ZT-70601-10M/dp/B00IFZ547Q/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1448819720&sr=8-2&keywords=zotac+gtx+750ti MSI Computer Corp. Do you see any issues with this upgrade such as compatibility or bottle-necking. 2. What GPU would you recommend since i am fairly new to this and would like to know which would run best with my system Any help is appreciated, Thank you.
  8. I know it lists that, but no, it isn't. The actual PSU is inside the case and just the power cable runs out. the size looks to be a standard Psu size
  9. So there isn't any issues with this upgrade? thats my main concern
