  1. So I'm out here looking for a 2k 144hz monitor with as much color accuracy as possible. Pretty much 10-20% of the reviews on most good options around $300-400 are complaints of DOA, dead pixels, bad RMA, or screen glitches. I'm pretty overwhelmed on what to get since I'm coming off of a 23" 1080p 60Hz HP monitor that since 8 years hasn't had a single issue and was hoping to get an upgrade that would last even longer. Also any help on 27" vs 32" would be fantastic. Here are the ones I'm currently looking at, does anybody have experience with these? 2. On the modem page it says its been certified for xfinity so I assume it will work with xfinity
  3. I'm getting 150 Mbps internet and am in need of a router and modem. I potentially may be sharing the wifi with a neighbor who lives about 12 feet away in his own separate house. Since I'm quite knew to the networking world I was wondering wether getting a combo modem and router or seperate ones would be better. Also what kind of benefits does each give. Also open to suggestions. Trying to stay as far below $156 as possible. That of course is xfinity's combo rental fee per year. So far what I've found is something like this: Separate (~$120): Modem: Netgear CM500 https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B06XH46MWW/ref=ox_sc_act_title_1?smid=ATVPDKIKX0DER&psc=1 Router: TP-Link AC1750 Archer A7 https://www.amazon.com/TP-Link-AC1750-Smart-WiFi-Router/dp/B079JD7F7G/ref=asc_df_B079JD7F7G/?tag=hyprod-20&linkCode=df0&hvadid=309807187084&hvpos=1o3&hvnetw=g&hvrand=3659775727156129638&hvpone=&hvptwo=&hvqmt=&hvdev=c&hvdvcmdl=&hvlocint=&hvlocphy=9060383&hvtargid=pla-554948261959&psc=1 OR Combo ($90): Netgear N600 C3700 https://www.amazon.com/NETGEAR-Certified-Xfinity-Comcast-Spectrum/dp/B00IF0JAYE/ref=asc_df_B00IF0JAYE/?tag=hyprod-20&linkCode=df0&hvadid=309818716690&hvpos=1o17&hvnetw=g&hvrand=6024731816790607536&hvpone=&hvptwo=&hvqmt=&hvdev=c&hvdvcmdl=&hvlocint=&hvlocphy=9060383&hvtargid=pla-569151510923&th=1
  4. I've been using MSI afterburner. I did a 130 MHz overclock on the core, 0 on the memory (No matter what gpu I can never get games to run well with a memory overclock) and cranked the power and temp limit to the max. Temperatures with furmark didnt go past 50 C. I've managed to get a better overclock on my gtx 1060 (~170 MHz) which I find peculiar, then again I'm not even close to a beginner overclocker. Although after I went stock it seems to have fixed things. You guys were right of course. Only other concern is that Heaven spat out a 9 fps minimum as well as gta at 13 thats quite a few below what other benchmarks I've seen. I'm assuming its either my harddrive or my anti aliasing settings right? Also why does it say 4096 Mb for the gpu? Its an 8gb card Unigine_Heaven_Benchmark_4.0_20181012_1217.html
  5. So I just bought a used evga 1070 hybrid from ebay to replace my 1060 6gb and now I can't run any games without it crashing within 5 minutes. Sometimes it crashes instantly and usually if I alt+tab out that causes a crash as well. I've used DDU to uninstall the drivers and have done a clean install twice. I've tested the gpu with furmark and I've ruled out temperature/cooling and psu power from the equation. It also from what I can tell has performed at what a 1070 should. I did overclock it a bit but nothing unreasonable. System specs: Ryzen 2600 16 gb Corsair Vengeance RGB Pro EVGA 1070 hybrid Corsair CX650M PSU MSI B350 Tomahawk Arctic
  6. So my MSI Tomahawk arctic comes with rgb leds on the backside of the motherboard. You should be able to control them via the Gaming APP but while I can turn them off, change the effects (breathing, flashing, etc) I cannot get it to change the actual color of the LEDs. MSI support has been unhelpful and I was hoping someone else has run into this problem and been able to fix it. Thanks
  7. I'm looking for a laptop cooler that fits my 17.3" laptop comfortably. No overhang, no electrical issues. I don't care if it is loud as balls, I just want some upper 4 digit rpm cooling pad that doesn't make me feel like I'm dangling my laptop off a cliff that is known to be consistent and won't crap out on me. I was thinking about the Cooler Master SF-17 or SF-19 but everything is out of stock and honestly the reviews just make it worse. Help me. Please
