  1. What type of setup would you say it might need? I mean it has a million settings but the auto configure is not doing the trick and advanced setup has many settings I have no clue of and dont want to touch due to not knowing what they do
  2. Yeah I can see it in plain text and it is definitely the same
  3. So I thought this too, however I tried connecting an old ASUS router I had and it works without the vodafone router! As far as I’m aware this connection doesn’t need a modem like the old broadband on the copper network. Also your evaluation on the situation os correct in that without the Vodafone router the new ASUS router will not function it honestly makes my mind melt I don’t understand what’s wrong
  4. Hi I just bought a new ASUS axe11000 router and after setup I have no internet connection and it says PPPoE Authentication Failure. Now I am in the UK with Vodafone broadband where I pay for gigabit FTTP. I have typed the username with this suffix @broadband.vodafone.co.uk and password for the PPPoE correctly but the ASUS router insists that it is incorrect and I have no idea why. My Vodafone router from the ISP works fine with the internet so I am baffled at what is causing this. I have checked with Vodafone and the username and password I type in is definitely the correct one. To add to this the ASUS router works when in access point mode, plugged into the Vodafone router but does not work as a stand alone Router. I am really confused what is causing this. Anybody have any idea as to what could be causing this? Thankyou in advance!
  5. Hi I have no idea if the display port previously worked as I upgraded my monitor about 4 months ago (previously ran a single display via HDMI) so had no way to test if the display ports were fine or not. I bought the card new it's a "Gigabyte Aorus GTX1080ti xtreme edition" which I snagged in a sale in October 2018 as it was EOL.
  6. So my problem is that my main monitor which is connected via display port to my GPU (1080 Ti) randomly says no input detected and goes black. Some Background: My secondary monitor that is connected via HDMI to the same GPU works perfectly fine without any disconnections. I have tried swapping my primary monitor to another pc and it works fine without any disconnection issues. This problem has been persistent over several months now despite several clean GPU driver fresh installs. The cable is inserted correctly and changing the cable to another port does not stop the monitor disconnecting) I am honestly stuck for ideas on what the problem is, especially since the problem seems to be intermittent and not brought on by any specific task (it happens in games, idling on the desktop, YouTube etc). The problem seems to be getting worse too as for the last few days the monitor will only find a signal for 5 seconds or so before going black and stating no signal input again. Unplugging the DisplayPort or power cable and plugging it in again will result in the monitor displaying as normal again for afew seconds before it again loses connection and black screens. This is all while the secondary monitor works perfectly over HDMI. I'm going mad honestly I don't know what's happening!
  7. I plugged my BT home hub wireless modem router back in and made this post. As for the problem I have tried my desktop, skybox, ipad, android phones i phones laptops several different games consoles to connect to it via wifi non of which have internet but can connect to the router's signal. When i plug my laptop in via ethernet to the router it does not have any internet.
  8. Ok so I'll explain, I recently bought the ASUS RT- AC87U - https://www.overclockers.co.uk/asus-...nw-085-as.html wireless router in conjunction with the Vigor Draytek 130 modem - https://www.amazon.co.uk/DrayTek-Vigor-ADSL-Ethernet-Modem/dp/B00F9E5LQA. Now I had previously used the BT home hub for my wifi but found the connection to drop and the range to be terrible (something that doesn't happen over the wired connection) so I invested in those. When I set up the Router and the Modem I found that the ASUS router broadcast the wireless signal but without internet. I then went into the modem dashboard and it said that my internet connection was being detected (upload and download speed) but the IP address was disconnected, I don't understand what is happening or how to fix it as I am new to networking. Please can anybody help me, I am really upset with the money I have spent and going to waste.

    760t

Ok so I was unsure where to put this as I'm new to this forum so I'm sorry if I've misplaced this topic I have got a Corsair 760t and was curious as to whether keeping the roof panel on the case would effect the temperatures of the a roof mounted radiator drastically or not. I like the aesthetics of the roof panel being on and I would like to top mount rather than front mount the radiator if at all possible.
  10. I just upgraded my graphics card from onboard to the new 780 card and in the playback devices menu it won't let me select my monitor. I didn't have this problem when I was using on board graphics :/ Does anyone know how to solve this problem? :(
