  1. Hi again everyone! I've just pushed an update to the play store (should be live in a few hours or so) which should address some issues some users were having (e.g. issues when CPU gets deleted, clients being deleted on search) and a cool little animation when adding a new connection.
  2. Hi all! New update has just been posted. Single slot control and a lot more info on your clients! Check it out.
  3. I've just put an update up on the play store, the app now shows you work unit percentage, allows finishing the work unit, automatic refresh and some little bug fixes (like longer names!). Link is in the original post! I'll have another update available in a few days, showing ETA, PPD, and other cool features. I'll reply here when its live.
  4. Thanks for the feedback, @RollinLower! Yeah, I get that the name limit is too short. I'll address that in the next version.
  5. Attention Android users! I've been folding myself for about 3 years. I've always thought how nice it would be to be able to view all my clients' from my phone and be able to start/stop them from the comfort of my own couch. So I made an Android app to do just that. Currently, the app lets you add clients (either manually, or let the app try find them for you) and start/stop them, and see if they are currently paused, running or ready for a work unit. An update will be coming out soon (say, a week?), which will extend that functionality to allow viewing work unit progress, viewing work unit ETA, setting folding power, and anything else you want. If this sounds like something you'd be keen on, give the app an install! https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.watsontv.fahmonitor&hl=en I also have another app to view your user/team stats, I would love it if you could check that out also! https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.watsontv.fahstats&hl=en Please, leave any feedback in the comments below. I look forward to it! Happy folding!
  6. Hi folders! I've created an android app to check your folding stats. You can search different donors by their name or ID, teams by their name or ID and view information about a given project. You can see your total points, rank, completed work units, etc. I use stats directly from F@H, not from other sources so my stats update within 10 minutes, where other stats update within 3 hours. I'd love it if you could check it out! Link below. https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.watsontv.fahstats
  7. The 970-UD3P is $170NZD, $109USD. The M5A97 EVO R2.0 is about the same. An i5-4460 and the cheapest H97 board I can find is $450NZD together, that's $290USD.
  8. If I get better price for performance I think I'll go the Intel route, and that saves me money in the future if I need to upgrade
  9. The cheapest mobo was about $130 NZD (CPU was $250 NZD).
  10. i5-4460 and i5-4590 are both $70-$80 more expensive, I'm just a schoolboy who cant really afford a lot but I will see what I can do..
  11. So the AMD FX 8350 is $160 USD at my local store, and I am wondering if it is actually a good processor. According to CPU Benchmark (https://www.cpubenchmark.net/cpu.php?cpu=AMD+FX-8350+Eight-Core&id=1780) it stands up pretty well against Intel CPU's. I would only use it for low to mid gaming, nothing horrendous. Anyone had experience with this CPU? Thanks in advance P.S. Please don't let this be a hate on AMD thread. If you dont like the 8350 tell me why, and if you do like it tell me why.
  12. Can anyone recommend an alternative to the 2500k that is about the same price?
