looking at a r7 5700x

Hey guys. I'm building a new pc right now and I have no clue what card to get. I know I'm going NVidia but I'm having a hard time choosing between getting a 4000 series or a 3000 series. I feel like the 4000 is the best option looking at prices right now. I play mostly in 1440p but sometimes I do play 4k depending on the game. The thought was to go for a 4070ti but I'm not sure if I should get that or if I'd be better off just grabbing the 4080. I have a 1080Ti right now so either would be a good upgrade. Just was looking for some other opinions before pulling the trigger.

It's a faulty board i researched it and then tested the ports again the hdmi ports are bad and the power delivery is messed up. Found that out cause it started blue screening on me today. That's the seccond board too. Guess i'll just get another one. Well a different one rather

Hey guys i need some help. A PC I built isn't ouputing sound through hdmi. I've installed multiple drivers, reinstalled the os, hell I even sent the board in for RMA. Nothing is working. Any suggestions? build Amd ryzen 3 2200G Asrock X370 gaming Itx/ac intel 660p ssd 16 gigs gskil aegis ram 2400

I got it my bios got wonky for some reason so i had to do a clean install and change some settings again

So i bought a evga 960 today and i can't even get my pc to display with it. like it's running and my drivers are installed but it's not working at all. does anybody have any suggestions?

Okay I'm kinda new here but I have a question. I finally am about to upgrade my pc. I'm going with a blue black and white theme and I want to put everything in a master case pro. Does anyone have any good suggestions on a motherboard with SLI and overclocking compatibility? By the way I need a lga 1150 socket So far the only one I like is the Z97S krait edition.
