I am planning to build a PC, and my friend is looking to upgrade his MOBO, CPU, and RAM. He has windows already installed on the mobo. Do I need to buy a key because I am buying a new hard drive or I don't?
Edit: I went with a 960 with 4gb of buffer, a thermaltake core v1 in which the psu doesn't hang over the cpu, and a NZXT 550W 80+ Bronze Full Modular PSU. I want this to work as an at home station and a LAN machine.
