  1. That's what I'm getting. 7970 gpu, even downclocked nothing fixed. I'm on the Crimson drivers too. Any other thoughts to fix this rectangle pixel problem?
  2. Guess that's tomorrow morning's next project. Nearing time for a new gpu anyway
  3. That's the weird part @HydraGaming and @afyeung these artifact problems have been going on occasionally for about 2-3 weeks while I tinker to try and fix it. I only just OC'd my gpu for the first time tonight, also in an effort to fix it.
  4. I'm getting some heavy artifacts in Fallout 4 lately. The large spikes that dance wildly and a very odd flickering rectangle of pixels that are never in the same place on the monitor. The pixels don't seem to flicker with random colors though, they are nearly invisible. I have a video of each odd occurrence but the files are 36 MB each unfortunately. The video shows the artifact and my gpu temp right next to it, constantly below 70C. Windows 10 internal memory diagnostic reported no errors, I just placed new thermal paste on the gpu and the OC on the gpu is stable after long testing in Valley. I'm out of ideas and not sure how to diagnose the problem. Anyone able to help? Please? 5. That was perfect honestly, I'll have to look into aftermarket 390x options for the possibility of better cooling. Also seems like it's time to bust out the ole measuring tape Thank you for helping!! I really really appreciate the guidance with so many options out there
  6. I was actually just looking at the 390x. Everyone seems to bend back and forth on whether it tops the 980ti. It seems 3-5% difference in ability with decently sized upswing in price @shanmu54321 edit: I was looking wrong, that's the Fury I think. Too many GPUs running around. I like your suggestion though of the 390x. It seems plenty powerful for my possible upgrade to 1440 with games like Fallout 4
  7. Any compatibility concern with the motherboard and say the 390x? @shanmu54321
  8. Between $300 and $600! I'm flexible either way, just looking for best bang for buck of course B) the 980ti is obviously crazy expensive, but I do truly love my games at ultra settings, and I've noticed the 7970 is starting to have some difficulty with Fallout 4 unfortunately
  9. Any thoughts gpu wise? I've surveyed the 980ti multiple times, but I've always had AMD @Samfisher
  10. Hey everyone, I'm debating possible upgrades to my build in a general sense but after watching several hours of Linus vids, my head is whirling a bit too much. If anyone can give some general advice to possible upgrades needed to my motherboard, cpu (including compatibility problems associated with upgrading only one), gpu, etc. I'd greatly appreciate it!!
