Hello, I want to know what is the safe temps for WD Green 2TB my hard drive goes to 41 somtimes is that normal ?

I ended up replacing the fan with Noctua NF-F12 PWM. Now its super quiet, the only noise from my PC is the Hyper 212 Evo fan which I may replace it soon with Noctua NF-F12. Thanks to @MG2R for his video https://linustechtips.com/main/topic/6392-knex-server/ I connected the fan directly to the PSU and monitor it throw the motherboard

The sound is too loud to be normal , and I don't think coil whine sound like this I have tried VX550 and VX650 before, they were not this bad what is weird that the sound disappear when I put the PC on its side

Hello, I have a CX430m power supply and it makes a horrible noise it is like this video I noticed that when I put the PC on its side the sound goes away ! What do you think is wrong here ?

Hello, I have a PC with these specs Intel i3-4160 GA-h81m-s2h Kingston 8GBx1 Evga 500 W1 I will be upgrading soon to a new machine and I intend to use this one for a NAS Now I know that I don't have an ecc ram, so I don't know if running a server in this machine is a good idea ? My main usage will be for storing movies and TV shows along with some personal photos I need also to use PLEX server to stream movies what do you think ? especially running the NAS without ecc ram I heard that running freenas is not a good idea without ecc ram What do you recommend ?

my pc specs are i3-4160 GA-H81m-s2h 8gb ram 250 evo ssd 2 tb wd green Evga 500w 80+ This machine is just for browsing and watching movies While I don't use a gpu but the power supply is somewhat noisy I don't recommend buying it, unless you are in a tight budget

Great ! Planning to buy it soon I have a loud case and I'm using the suspension method to reduce noise , it works great but I don't think it is safe

I'm Planning to get this case and I will put 4 hard drives in it Is it quiet, does the drives make much vibrations ?
