Just bought the MSi R9 380 4g, thanks for your help guys!

So should I go for the r9 380 or the gtx960. Currently I'm only playing GTA online. What I understand from your post is that the r9 380 will be able to handle more graphics easier? p.s. Thanks for your help!

I get your point. But the 960 has a faster core clock and faster effective memory clock then the r9 380. Is it smarter to go for faster core/effective memory clocks, or for the same brands? I would say faster clocks but this is my first build so not that much experience. (the r9 380 is a 256 bit and the 960 only 128 bit)

Here is my part list: - MSi 970 gaming mobo - AMD FX-8350 black edition - MSi GTX960 4g - samsung 850 evo 500gb ssd - 2 4gb kingston hyper x fury 1866MHz - cooler master V750 - BeQuiet! dark rock advanced C1 I'll also use a seagate SSHD external drive (USB 3.0)
