  1. Just wondering whether this build is good? (and yes Australian prices are the worst)
  2. Currently Running This Rig: CPU: Intel Core 2 Quad Q9400s 2.66GHz Motherboard: P5Q PRO Ram: 4x 2 gigabyte 800MHz GPU: 2x Asus Radeon HD7850-V2 (2 GDDR5 each) in Crossfire Ancient I Know Looking to upgrade to a new gen Mobo, CPU and Ram combo, this is what I'm Looking at Mobo: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E168... CPU: i5 4460 Ram: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E168... This is going to use all of my budget Would I be able to keep it for 1 or 2 years without needing upgrade? (I also don't play games at very high settings and don't play many Ultramodern games)

  4. Looking to keep this processor for another year or 2. Which one would be more future proof, which one would be better and do you think any of these processors could last 1 or 2 year, my GPUs are 2x Asus Radeon HD7850-V2 (2 GDDR5 each) in Crossfire, and a good measure for gaming would be GTA V at medium to high settings at 1080p? Thanks
  5. Would it run well on GTA V at around medium settings? Upgrading form a core 2 quad so any GPU bottleneck improvement would be nice.
  6. Would an Intel Core i7-870 bottleneck 2x Asus Radeon HD7850-V2 (2 GDDR5 each) in Crossfire? Thanks
  7. Looking to upgrade my ancient CPU, Mobo and Ram setup Rig: CPU: Intel Core 2 Quad Q9400s 2.66GHz Motherboard: P5Q PRO Ram: 4x 2 gigabyte 800MHz GPU: 2x Asus Radeon HD7850-V2 (2 GDDR5 each) in Crossfire This is what I have Mobo: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813157448 (I know it is out of stock, I'm getting it elsewhere) CPU: Intel Core i5 4460 Ram: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820233527 Would this pair well with my GPUs?
  8. Looking to over my CPU but i just need to know one thing. I am currently running the stock large Intel cooler (shown in the photo), my current room temp is 26*c and my highest CPU core temp is 45*c idle with the rest being under 40*c? Would I be able to get away with any overclock without killing it or should I get an after market cooler?
  9. Pretty much need a temporary quad core Intel system upgrade for a few months that's less than $225
  10. Is an Intel Core i7-870 still a usable processor and would it bottleneck 2x Asus Radeon HD7850-V2 (2 GDDR5 each) in Crossfire? Thanks
  11. Would upgrading to a 1156 mobo and getting something like a i7-750 make any difference?
  12. Rig: CPU: Intel Core 2 Quad Q9400s 2.66GHz Motherboard: P5Q PRO Ram: 4x 2 gigabyte 800MHz GPU: 2x Asus Radeon HD7850-V2 (2 GDDR5 each) in Crossfire Hi, Looking to play games like GTA V, COD. etc. But I'm just wondering whether my current CPU and ram are bottlenecking my 2 graphics cards? I am currently interested in getting a 1156 motherboard and a basic i3 540 however I'm wondering whether this is a worthy upgrade or not as these cards don't seem to be running as well as they should, specifically in GTA V. Thanks
