  1. Further testing: If a USB device is plugged in to any port, the Microphone stops working for perhaps around 1 minute or so, then becomes functional. Launching Rocket League also stops the Microphone from working.
  2. I was thinking this was a possibility, but just installed them again, and yet again, issue persists.
  3. Alright, so for those who don't know, the Blue Snowball is a Plug and Play microphone. On my old PC, it worked perfectly fine on Windows 10. I play rocket league and Skype. Whenever I plug-in or press any of the buttons on the PS4 controller, the Mic stops working. Any clues? Thanks
  4. Hi all, Before you ask I haven't just jumped straight on here as soon as it didn't work, I've looked around and the all the solutions presented are having no help. The blunt way to put this is that the BIOS is not detecting the SM951 (512GB NVMe) in my M.2 slot. System in question: CPU: i7-4790K Mobo: Asus Maximus VII Hero (Z97) RAM: 16GB Corsair DDR3 No other drives connected at the moment. Have successfully installed and booted into windows using a WD Green 4TB. Running the latest BIOS, no overclock, fresh install and using the official Windows 10 USB installation stick. I can come to one of 3 conclusions based off my research: 1) My SM951 is dead. (Or perhaps, although it shouldn't be, it's incompatible.) 2) My M.2 slot on the mobo is dead. (It was brought new though) 3) The possibility that the official Win10 USB stick is not GPT partitioned (apparently required) Would love to hear your suggestions on this. Thanks, MJBYTTV
  5. Interesting, thanks, I'll bare that in mind and have a looksie in a bit. I'm recording at 1360 (or 1366, yet tbd) by 768. Downscaling will come post-recording. Also, regarding downscaling methods, which generally provides better results? Bilinear, Bicubic, etc. Thanks, MJBYTTV
  6. Hi all, Just got (hopefully) a quick question. I plan on recording some footage (using OBS) for YouTube (games and shizzle). The predicament I have is that I'm running at 1360 x 768, (the manufacturers website says the native resolution is 1366 x 768, but windows detects it at 1360 x 768, I'll play about to see if there is a noticeable difference). My question is, (providing there is no noticeable difference in quality) out of 1360 x 768 or 1366 x 768, which would the easiest be to downtscale to 720p (1280 x 720, pretty confident you assumed that already though) at either 25 or 30fps (ideally 30 if my system can handle it, it can play at 60fps stable, but I haven't done a whole lot of testing to see the impact of recording). What software would you suggest to downscale it? Would downscaling it result in weird artefacts, and if so, would it be better to accept some clipping (or 2-3px black bars) to maintain decent aspect ratio? Hopefully I'm making myself clear. I would rather do the downscaling on my side where I have full control rather than letting YouTube run rampant. Thanks, MJBYTTV P.S. Come April 2016 I will be upgrading my computer and monitor so this won't be an issue.
