    Playback issue is my main problem, just wanted to share my handbrake settings to give some more indepth detail on my encoded content.

    Hi, Just setting up my home theater PC but I've being having alot of issues finding the best video playback for my compressed movies. One of issues is the colour is washed out and I switch it from hardware to software. But then I get alot of artifacts with my video playback. ( I understand that my compress video may course artifacts, but it doesn't show when I have use hardware enabled) My Handbrake settings: PICTURE: Anamorphic: Strict Cropping: Custom 0,0,0,0 FILTERS: Deinterlace: Off Decomb: On and set to default VIDEO: Framerate: Same as Source, Constant Framerate Optimised Video: Use Advanced Tab instead Quality: Avg Bitrate 5000, 2-Pass Encoding AUDIO: Codec AC3 Passthru SUBTITLES: Foreign Audio Scan, Burn In ADVANCED: Reference Frames: 4 Any suggestions on how to solve these playback issues?     hmmm... I might check that one out. But really I m hoping for a way to avoid re encoding twice.

    Unfortunately handbrake cant combine two video sources into one.

    Hi, Just wondering if theres a way to combine two video files without having to re encode them, due to time and quality loss. The video files I want to merge have been already encoded with my same custom handbrake settings. Any suggestions or feedback would be great. Cheers. Older post:

    Because I was thinking using other software like sony vegas to combine both but I'm not sure it will keep the same quality as the original separate files. thanks for your feedback

    Hi, I'm currently backing up my movies with handbrake to make traveling for my kids less boring (during road trips) with better file sizes. Unfortanely I've come across one of my films I own has two discs (e.g part 1 and 2 both main feature) is their a way to combine them into a single mp4 file with handbrake? Any suggestions would be great. Cheers.

    Hi, Just hooked up my computer to my TV in my living room from another room. An wondering if their are any good for gaming bluetooth mechanical keyboards? The reason I want bluetooth is because my wireless keyboard doesn't reach the distance and single loss is horrible, but my Bluetooth play station 3 controllers via my bluetooth dongle work great and no delays or single loss. Any suggestions would be great. Cheers.

    solved now VLC is #1 video player windows 10 film app crap at splitting two displays

    Update: Just tried with VLC no lagg issues must be only with windows 10 film app

    hi, Just got my TV in my living room hooked up with my monitor an wondering does this impact on performance with a gpu. e.g. Monitor is a full 1080p via display port and TV is 1080p via HDMI I notice glitches when watching movies in windows 10 film and tv app like lagg spikes whilst on both displays.

    Hi, Just enquiring about extending a USB cable through a CAT6 cable in my ceiling which is roughly 10-15 meters (including height of walls) into my living room from my office. Because at the moment I'm currently got a HDMI CAT6 Extender (http://www.jaycar.com.au/Sight-%26-Sound---Home/AV-Switchers-%26-Converters/Switchers/HDMI-Over-2-x-Cat5e-6---30m-with-IR-Extender/p/AC1730) up an running but unfortunately my Logitech wireless keyboard an mouse cant make the distance. The keyboard and mouse use the same wireless USB doggle which I want to put into the my living room to be able to use it. So my question are: 1. Will a my wireless keyboard & mouse doggle work well, over this distance? 2. Is their a better option or method to extend a usb cable? Any other thoughts and feedback would be great. Cheers.
