  1. Update: I changed the name of wlan0 to eth666 in /etc/udev/rules.d/70-persistent-net.rules in order to bridge eth666 (wlan0) apparently this is one way to trick it
  2. Hello all I've been having some issues with my proxmox setup. After some hours of reading about PCI passthru / wlan bridging I thought I would see if someone out there had any experience with this. I have a proxmox box with one onboard ethernet and one PCI wireless N card. I would like to use the wireless card with my vms to play around and ultimately set up a pfsense / squid proxy on one. Since I do not have 2 eth NICs so I thought it might be possible to either a) bridge the wlan NIC to one of my routers and the LAN to the ethernet and a switch. I guess it would help with a breakdown of topography ISP MODEM-> ASUSRT (dd-wrt)->Wireless bridge (ASUSRT) -> Linksys switch->LAN Currently the second ASUSRT is going into the proxmox box and the switch which supplies a few boxes. Does anyone have any suggestions / experience with wlan and proxmox? Any topographical suggestions for improvement? The reason for the bridge / extension on the current ASUSRT's is because my house is some distance from the ISP's modem / microwave dish so I had to extend my network. Any thoughts on getting my PCI wireless card available in proxmox? Any help or ideas would be much appreceated
