  1. Intel Core 2 Quad Q9550 NVIDIA GeForce 9400GT 4 GB DDR2 RAM
  2. Yes. I couldn't tell any difference from the Duo. Maybe I bent a single Mobo pin Maybe it's my PSU
  3. I'm actually quite scared to look at them again. As maybe when I'm returning the CPU, I might bend pins
  4. Also, how do I screw in this cooler with spring screws? I try to do an X pattern but the last screw doesn't fully thread in. Do I have to remove the mobo from the case then screw it in?
  5. I was installing my Q9550. It slightly didn't line up, so carefully made it fit. The system does boot up, correct proc speed, no errors etc. What would be the things that would have told me that I have bent things?
  6. It's from an Acer Aspire unit. I can't get the thing screwed-in completely. There's always a single screw that doesn't fit in, the last one to get screwed. I screwed in a cross-manner. Do I have to remove the mobo from the case?
  7. ASUS P5KPL-AM EPU https://www.asus.com/Motherboards/P5KPLAM_EPU/HelpDesk_CPU/ Well, I do see three revisions of the Q9550 there. My BIOS ver is 0415. The Q9550 needs 0216 to run, so I don't think I need to update my BIOS anymore.
  8. Not really. I've watched people playing CS:GO in YouTube with E7400s and Q6600s and the Quad was noticeably smoother and the framerate counter proved it. Besides, I've read on lots of forums about Dual-Core users struggling when near smoke or in firefights.
  9. Nothing. I don't multi-task when gaming especially when I know that the PC can't handle it.Yes. I checked their website. Would the Q9550 be a worthy upgrade to the E7400? Would my generic 500W PSU handle it?
  10. My mobo sucks a OC'ing. Won't even let me change voltages. Besides, I live in the Philippines and I can't find any mod stickers. And I'm just a HS student, and the money I used was my mom's (lol). She would rarely spend money on these types of things (that's why my PC is crap) and she only agreed that I need an upgrade since we use Adobe Premiere at school. Spending more money than just this product would give her a headache. Thanks for the help
  11. When I press Alt+F2 after pressing Del (when BIOS is initializing), nothing happens. There isn't even an option in tools that says Asus EZ Flash 2, but when BIOS is initializing there is.
  12. Uuuuum, nope. My E7400 is already OC'ed to 3.35 GHz, and it struggles with CS:GO. Everything at low and 800x600, the fps is within 70-100 but drops to about 20-30 when in smoke and stutters really bad when there are a lot of enemies. My friend's Q6600, on the other hand, breezes past CS:GO and never drops below 80fps. His GPU is a lot weaker than mine, his is an 9400GT and mine is a 9800GT.
  13. I'm looking to upgrade my shitty E7400. What CPU would give me a stable framerate in CS:GO?
  14. I have to buy those stickers and have them shipped to me overseas? No thanks
  15. They're LGA771 procs apparently. My mobo has an LGA775 soc
  16. I found this: https://www.olx.ph/item/intel-core2-quad-processor-q9550-12m-cache-2-83-ghz-1333-mhz-fsb-ID76rG1.html?p=6&h=76f853ea21#76f853ea21 Would this be it?
  17. Would the Xeon X3210 also eliminate the stutters I am experiencing in CS:GO?
  18. It's an LGA 1366 CPU, it won't it on my LGA775 socket mobo
  19. Would any of these eliminate the stutters that I have on CS:GO from running a Core 2 Duo E7400?
