  1. Hi everyone, I have a Q80 65inch QLED TV connected to my Q90 soundbar via HDMI 3 (ARC) which is connected to my Xbox One S connected to the soundbar's HDMI 1 port. I use my Xbox purely for watching 4K HDR blurays and am trying to get the most out of my tv and soundbar. Whenever I have my Xbox plugged into my soundbar everything shits the bed. The tv and soundbar start to freeze up and after a moment the tv goes black and I fail to get a signal from the Xbox though I can still hear the Xbox making sounds when I use the remote. I would just plug the Xbox into the tv's HDMI port but the picture quality and sound (atmos) don't looks as good/don't work. Can anyone help me fix this up. Have I got something connected wrong? Is it a settings issue on the tv or Xbox ? When the Xbox is briefly working plugged into the soundbar I use bitstream out on the Xbox for sound and I have the input signal plus option turned on for the HDMI 3 (ARC) soundbar input in the tv settings. My apologies for the long winded post. I'm just fed up trying to make this work and want to give you all as much information as I can to help diagnose the problems. Thankyou all so much in advance for any help you can offer :)
  2. ... really. I even contacted cablemod to clarify after the first strip didn’t work and they said that it was compatible with my board. As did the company I purchased the strip off of thanks for for the response. Just not what I wanted to here
  3. Hey everyone. I need help trying to get a CableMod 60cm addressable RGB led strip to work with a Gigabyte b450m ds3h motherboard. When I plug it in I only get one LED showing up in a bright blue and nothing else. I can’t change it via rgb fusion or the bios. This is my second LED strip from CableMod as the first was dead on arrival and CableMod was happy to send out a replacement but now I’m not sure what to do. Thanks in advance :)
  4. Its a PC i built myself. I'm selling it to a friend and buying a new one
  5. I'm getting my PC ready for sale but I'm unsure how to go about clean installing windows on it. I have the windows 8.1 disk that I bought when I built my PC but my PC is now running windows 10 and doesn't have a disk drive... Can someone please help me, what do I need to do? Thanks in advance everyone, Hodge
  6. I've just recreated the lines on my monitor by turning my pc on and off a couple of times. Things to note: Thelines appeared when turning the pc on while the monitor is in sleep mode. The osd appears normally when the screen turns black after the lines. The pc still needs to be reset to fix the issue Hopefully this helps somewhat
  7. I'll go and turn it on and off a couple of times to see if the osd works and yes I'm using a display port connect that came with the monitor
  8. Yeah the screen turns on black and then cuts straight to this... I'm not sure if the osd shows up I've never thought to check. How would I go about checking if it's my GPU? I've haven't had any other issues with my GPU in games or anything so I don't think it's that.
  9. Hey everyone, For about the last fortnight I've been having this weird problem with my monitor and I'm not sure what it means. When I power my pc on roughly 1/10 times the monitor has blue, green or pink lines show up either vertically or horizontally across the entire monitor. They then disappear and my monitor stays black until I reset my pc. I have attached a picture of the green and blue vertical lines, however it is normal green and pink horizontal lines.... I have an EVGA SSC 970 and an ASUS PG348Q monitor. I'm not sure which is on the fritz... Any help would be appreciated. Cheers
  10. Thanks everybody for all the responses, I wasn't aware that X34A was even a thing so I'll definitely be making sure that's the model I get over the X34. I might consider waiting until the X34P comes out in November however to see if I can get any clearance sale savings on the X34A. Thanks again everyone for all the responses
  11. I'll be primarily gaming which is why I was after the gsync and the high refresh rate
  12. I don't want a multi monitor surround set up as i don't like the bezels of each monitor in between what I'm looking at. Also the aoc monitor you suggested offers none of what I'm after. As stated in my original post I'm after g-sync, 100hz refresh rate and a 21:9 ips panel. Thanks for your ideas tho
  13. I'll be upgrading to something like the 1080ti or the 11 series of cards when they come out. I don't mind gaming on low-medium settings for a while because i know in time I'll have the gpu horsepower to drive it properly off of a single card
  14. The Asus PG27AQ is an awesome monitor but I'm really after that 21:9 aspect ratio... I love the way it fills the space in front of you when you're sitting at your desk along with the overall aesthetic of it. Thanks for your response though
