  1. A friend of mine has asked me to build him a PC to play games and also use either Fraps or Dxtory to capture the game. The two CPUs that I considered for the build were the i7 3770 or the FX-8350. The FX-8350 is cheaper and allows me to fit an SSD into the budget. Would any of you recommend one of these CPUs or something different? I understand that the FX-8350 will allow overclocking which will allow me to get extra performance from the CPU. Specs for the build are: Corsair 300r CXM 600 (Possibly TX650) 2Tb Seagate barracuda 8GB RAM XFX 7870 Tahiti LE SanDisk 128GB SSD (If using FX-8350) AMD FX-8350 Asus M5A97 LE R2.0 Or i7 3770 MSI H77MA-G43
  2. Why not, One of my mates wanted BF3 and I have no use for the other codes.
  3. I just got this PSU and the fan is not spinning, is this normal?
  4. I have just overclocked my 3570k to 4.4Ghz and am currently running stress tests on it. I have Hardware monitor open as well as Asus' AI suite. Asus AI suite keeps reading the voltages normally but it then suddenly says that the Vcore has either dropped to a really low level such as 0.2v or has gone up to 1.6v. At the same time hardware monitor is reading the Vcore as 1.184v. This is clearly not normal, but is it safe? Is this just down to the Asus software being buggy or is the Vcore really dropping and climbing to dangerous levels? In addition to this the Asus AI suite just came up with a warning saying that the motherboard was -60c
  5. What i would like to know, is this motherboard good for running dual graphics cards solutions, specifically SLI, is the motherboard good for running moderate CPU overclocks and what is the reliability of Gigabyte boards like? I ask these questions because this specific motherboard is cheap from a local retailer and i would like to upgrade my current motherboard to one that has better features.
