  1. So I think I found the problem. When I unplugged the commander pro's usb from the motherboard, it stopped. I think the commander pro is bad..
  2. I've unplugged everything and its still doing it. I uninstalled the 3.0 hub and it stopped. I reinstalled them and it started doing it again. I installed a Corsair H100i Elite Capellix and the commander core. I also have a commander pro. I just have the commander core hooked up to it and have all the fans and rgb hooked up to the commander pro. It wasn't doing this at 1st. Also, icue isn't detecting the capellix.. very odd.
  3. I agree, try it in another system or just return it. I just got a 3090ti yesterday same exact one you got. I also got an Evga 1000 watt PSU. Install went well, ran time spy, got 19000 compared to the 6000 my 1070 got. Worked fine until I started to play The outer worlds. The fans maxed out on the card and I could feel how hot the glass was on my case..The rgb lights went off also... I was like WTF! Even when I shut the game down and steam, I could still hear the music from the game still going.. Weird. I checked the task manager and steam was shut down. I then shut the computer down. Let is sit for a few mins for the card to cool down. Started it back up and decided to go to EVGA's website and download the software to see if there was anything going on. Immediately it told me there was a firmware update. I tried like 4 times and it wouldn't finish. I shut the computer down again for about 5 mins. re ran the software. The firmware update popped up again, I clicked start, this time it made it thru and all of the sudden the fans went back to normal and the lights came back on. Its been fine since then. I ran a few games before it did that and no problems. I haven't tried The outer worlds since then, just haven't had time. But, I wonder...
  4. I hear ya. Most of that is true. I've had tons of stuff out of China, Including $3000 speakers for listening to music and they were nothing short of amazing in build quality. The cheaper switches like Kaihl get a bad rap also. I had a Razer Chroma keyboard with those switches and they were really good. I gave that keyboard to my GF and she loves it. The Topre switches are from Japan and are by far the best. You really owe it to yourself to try these Topre switches, the feeling is absolutely amazing. I'm writing this while using the Topre keyboard and its incredible.
  5. I was just looking at the Ornata yesterday. I think its a good keyboard. Pushing the keys thru the box cutout they felt pretty good. For the price you can't go wrong.
  6. I just got a Topre Realforce RGB.. The keys are like nothing I've ever felt. I have a Corsair K70 RGB Browns, Razer Blackwidow Chroma X TE with Greens and they just are not in the same league as the Topre switches. The only thing I wish the Topre had was more light creating options. Its annoying, its like downgrading from the Corsair/Razer lighting apps. Its too bad they don't have a TKL version of this. But I can live without it. It is expensive at $249, but the keys are so good its worth it. After using Topre keys, Cherry switches just feel cheep. Even the Razer greens feel better. The keycaps on the Topre feel so much better also. I never knew what I was missing..
  7. Sounds good Paw. I wonder how they fair compared to my DT 770 Pro 80's.
  8. I'm looking at the X2 Fidelio's myself. But when you look on Amazon they have some sort of quality control dispute. Something about gluing the ear pads to frame. They got awesome reviews. I'll order them when they get back in stock.
  9. Ok, I found this.. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813128834 Not bad.. But unless you spend some good coin, your not getting that. And I'm still skeptical. I know for a fact my on board sound is absolute crap!
  10. You know as well as I do, someone using their on board audio is not listening to music critically, they are listening to itunes or spotify.. Some people just want to hear music or games and aren't anal about it. Most people that use on board don't know how to set up a sound card anyhow. Someone show me a motherboard on par with a ZXR..
  11. Like I said, people that don't care about having great sound won't care if they are using usb cans. Pretty sure those usb cans don't have an SNR rating of 124.. Be honest, how many of you guys are listening to music on Senn hd 600 cans with on board sound? Not on board sound with an external dac/amp.. I mean just using the on board.. If you are, your not a serious music listener..
  12. I was being a smartass with the last comment about the $500 motherboard. Show me a motherboard that has audio on par with a ZXR or the Asus Raid DLX I'll have tomorrow.. I love that, prey on the ignorant.. If you buy any sort of DLC, your just as ignorant. The gaming companies rape gamers to no end..
  13. That was hilarious.. Lets be honest here. Why on God's green earth would you use on board when you have that kind of gear, makes zero sense.. I don't listen to music tethered to my desk, I listen to music on my Martin Logan Electrostats..
  14. Show me which $500 motherboard has such great audio.. There is a reason creative and asus ect.. Still make sound cards. Mainstream people know nothing about external dacs/amps. Some people don't want stuff on their desk.
