Hey Guys, My Nuc 11 enthusiast is getting long in the tooth having a quad core and 2060 - even with a Raid 0 NVME and 32Gb DDR4. Id like something new- ideally intel/nvidia based but I'm here for any advice! I've seen these- LINK but I cant find a price/availability in the UK. But any advice appreciated.

Hey guys, Spec currently- 3700X/32gb 3200mhz(4x8GB)/2080ti/Raid0 Sabrent Rocket 1Tb m.2/ MSI Mortar Mag B550 Wifi board. The 3700x is getting on a bit- I do gaming/netflix with the pc- and that's about it tbh. Is it worth me going to a 5800X3D/ something newer and squeeze some more years out of AM4 or should I just wait and upgrade the whole thing to AM5? The 3700X is stock clock and runs nice and cool- even on smallest FFT the fans don't go past 1500rpm and its barely audible and the temps are 80c. Cheers in advance for the advice. Regards.

Heya guys and gals, I have a really first world problem- built a new rig and thought I’d get a pair of sabrent rockets to raid0(disgustingly fast) all well and good but I now have a spare drive- all the other machines in the house have NVME drives installed and I’m sat here with a spare 256GB Samsung pro m.2(will update model number in min sure it’s either 960 or 970). Is there a Usb enclosure(that’s decent quality) that I can put the drive in? I don’t mind off brand names so long as the quality is good- and I can get decent speed from it- I’d like to make a stupidly fast usb stick(ideally if the chassis had a separate cable bay I can plug into it the better). Thanks in advance you guys rock.

Currently Playing at 1080/60- but with plans in the future to bump to 4k/120(when I find a 65" that supports it without interlacing) Id rather game at a lower res but higher settings/more eye candy turned on. I may skip 5800/3080 entirely and just build a whole new rig in 20XX Cheers guys

I like to play max settings and rock solid frames- dips under 75 are a nono.

Heya Guys, Simple Question- I have a 3700X in an ASRock X570M Pro4 M-ATX mobo, with a Dark rock Pro3 Cooler, gpu is 1080ti- but will be going 3080 when stock allows. What CPU should I upgrade to? R7 5800X is £461 At time of writing. 8 core R9 3900XT is £430 12core are the IPC improvements enough on the 5800x to beat out the 3900xt?? I won't be overclocking- build has to be nigh on silent when idle and id like minimal fan noise when rendering/gaming. Thanks in advance.

have a Ryzen 1700x(going to 2700x) and a 1080ti atm. BUT wondering if its worth going SLI vs single 2080ti.(another Ti is £350-400 on the bay) ( game at 1080p 60hz, with max settings/lots of AA/mods) Cheers in advance.

ah but, resale- 1700x now is still worth something, whereas when zen2 is realeased it wont be as much, so i should deffo upgrade. (justifying it anyway i can basically)

has anyone benched a 1700x vs a 2700x ideally with a 1080ti on 3200mhz cl13 memory. cheers in advance

Yo, context- Have a 1700x/1080ti a nice set of nice B&W speakers a Kef subwoofer and now a TV that was purchased the early part of 2012 and at 1080p/60hz 48" its not cutting the mustard anymore. everything is top spec, and the TV is meh. so id like: 4K 60Hz(or more if possible) 50" or moreas dumb as possible- ie dont need webos/smart tv, just a panel that has pixels on it, UK only pls. Speakers- couldn't care less if it has them or not they wont be used. as little input lag as possible(i am fully wired RE mouse/keyboard.) sub 600pounds if possible,cheers all. are there anythings i need to look out for ie OLED/Qdot/etc?? any manufactureres that i need to avoid??

Yo, I have a B350M mortar from MSI, and i have a Xonar DSX sound card, i really feel like an upgrade, as i have nothing left to upgrade! Is it worth me upgrading to a xonar STX? or even STX II?? or is there a better PCIe soundcard? ( i use RCA to a separate amplifier (kenwood)- speakers are B&W 601 S3, and have a Kef Power cube) Current system: 1700x(kryonaut and black rock3 pro)/16gb ram3200mhz/1080ti/intel pcie NIC/wifi/bt/all bequiet fans/m.2 850evo.

thats perfect, i need that, all i want to do is to sort the colours out and thats it, dont need sound or any stuff like that.

i miss dumb tvs so much, current tv has the most basic settings, and its perfect, but its 1080/old.
