  1. Everyone went over to Global offensive, and the EU still has a fairly large scene with Dreamhack and a few other tournaments. Hope you check those out!
  2. The Season 3 World Championship Series is ALREADY begun its close. For Europe the Round of 16 groups have been announced: Group A: Happy, Welmu, StarDust, Targa Group B: Vortix, MC, ThorZain, BabyKnight Group C: ForGG, Genius, Nerchio, ShoWTime Group D: MMA, TitaN, duckdeok, Starbuck More info: http://wiki.teamliquid.net/starcraft2/2013_WCS_Season_3_Europe/Premier I'm actually quite excited for EU. With only 6 Korean players, it definitely allows the true Europeans to actually have a chance in WCS Season 3. I'm hoping that a European makes it to the Round of 4. Fan favorites Naniwa, TLO, Lucifron, and MVP weren't able to advance from the Ro32.
  3. TAEEEJJJJJJJJAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!!!!!!
  4. None of my friends played on PC, they all played XBOX a lot but didn't call themselves nerds. I switched to PC gaming because of starcraft. Now i play loads of games with steam and all. I also visited this forum alot. <3
  5. Hey guys. I just wanted to get some general information. My question is: which esport game are you most interested in? I'm doing this so I can get an overall feel of which games you guys like the most. Or if the forums like esports at all. Vote here: http://strawpoll.me/377903 I would also enjoy your feedback! Thanks for your participation!
  6. The Starcraft 2: HOTS finals ended earlier today. There were many emotions that took place over the weekend. Acer's Scarlett was the foreign hope as she was training very well in Korea. Unfortunately, she lost in the round of 8 to Startale.Bomber, who eventually won the tournament. Bomber defeated Taeja with a 3-2 score. It was a very nail-biting series as Taeja was able to tie the score after losing the first two games. Jaedong was another story. His Ro16 group only consisted of protosses so he only had one matchup to practice: ZvP. And he only played ZvP up until the finals where he had to face Bomber. Unfortunately for him, Jaedong lost 0-4 and takes home yet another 2nd place award. It's the fourth time this year Jaedong had to take home a second place trophy. But it was a fantastic tournament nonetheless. Congratulations, Bomber! 7. The NASL (North American Star League) has announced that they will be hosting the Season 3 Finals for WCS! Living in Dallas, I really want to make plans to go, but with school, it'll be difficult. Highly recommend anyone interested in the sc2 pro scene to go! Here is some more information about it: http://nasl.tv/News/Article/20130823wcs-season-3-finals-at-the-toronto-congress-centre
  8. WCS S2 Finals are live now!
  9. I told blizzard the same thing
  10. Anyone have a hearthstone beta key? Plzz

  11. For Europe, the 32 players for Season 3 have been announced! Keep in mind Season 3 is the final season before the Grand Finale at Blizzcon. There, 16 players with the most WCS points will compete for a first prize of $100,000. Here are your 32 players who have qualified for the Starcraft II World Championship Series Season 3: 15 (P) / 10 (T) / 7 (Z) Duckdeok (P) MC (P) Grubby (P) Welmu (P) Naniwa (P) HasuObs (P) MMA (T) Vortix (Z) Titan (P) Stardust (P) ToD (P) Babyknight (P) MVP (T) Happy (T) sLivko (Z) Starbuck (Z) ShowTime (P) BlinG (P) SaSe (P) TaiLS (P) Genius (P) Noname (T) ThorZaIN (T) Lucifron (T) Kas (T) Shuttle (T) ForGG (T) KrasS (T) TargA (Z) Nerchio (Z) TLO (Z) FireCake (Z) Considering is the final season for 2013, I am actually super excited for this EU season. Loads of true Europeans that can take out some of these world class Koreans. MC on the other hand has been looking pretty good. But we will just have to see Be sure to tune into the WCS Season 2 Finals this weekend: www.twitch.tv
  12. Once it comes out, I'm putting a lot of time into it.
  13. Blizzard can't make viewers watch the game through the client, but they post links to WCS on the front page of the client. Like when you load up sc2 there would be a sick background picture and in the foreground it says WCS LIVE NOW <insert stream link>. So it's a click away to a stream link instead of watching it in game. and you are reiterating what i said about more people = more viewers. -.-
  14. Surely, you know this is impossible... and plus I don't think it explains popularity. Starcraft used to be #1 in terms of viewership, LoL and Dota got ahead because loads more people played it and got more interested into the whole eSports thing.
  15. Unfortunately, this will be the first sad news on the LTT esports forums. Link to official announcement: http://www.iccup.com/dota2/content/news/Proekt_iCCup_Team:_itogi.html Link to translations:http://www.teamliquid.net/forum/viewmessage.php?topic_id=425770 Team Achievements: 1st - Starladder Pro Series: Season 5 (2013) 2nd - Techlabs Cup (2013) 1st - D2R Team League (2013) 1st - EIZO Cup #4 (2013) 2nd - Star Series: Season VI (2013) 2nd - EiZO Cup #6 (2013) It's sad to see another Dota 2 team get released. Which players have shocked/worried you when they say they have retired or been forced to quit?
