  1. Of course you can crossfire 7970.... up to 4 card if I'm not wrong...
  2. Actualy, bottom mounted power supply is better because it can get fresh and cool air from the outside of the case, if you mount the PSU on the top, it just get the hot air from your gpu and cpu.... And PSU work best in a cool ambient temparature...

  4. 7970 is better than 680... 7970 is the second fastest GPU after Titan..... Plus the Never Settle Bundle, it will be a good choice for you..
  5. Try to remove all hardware from the case and try to start it outside of the case, If it successfully POST, so there is something short-ing your motherboard.. I'd this problem about a month ago..

  8. Hi, I'm using 1333mhz Kingston RAM and I'm satisfied with FPS that i get... If I upgrade my current RAM, will I get more FPS? Or can I get other benefit from it?
  9. Between this 2 beast, which should I choose to replace my 6870 FleX... I'm gonna use it to play game at 1080p resolution with max settings... My cpu is fx 8350 at stock speed with 4gb of 1333 ram.. Thanks to all reply....
  10. The in-game performance between pcie 2.0 and 3.0 is about nothing... it depends on your graphic card actually, if you use pcie 3.0 card, it is faster in trnsferring the data... that is just the difference...
  11. you are using 7870 right? how much fps you get in crysis 3 with ultra setting(stock processor clock)?

  13. i'm just giving my opinion because you have a lot of money, or if you want to buy motherboard only, go for asrock 970 extreme3 r2.0.. great for money and also capble of sli and crossfire..
  14. Maybe there is a faulty on the processor.. 1.4v should be enough to 4.6ghz...
  15. CPU will not last long if it is forced to consume a lot of voltage and high temp. ... The best thing to do is, use your processor at it clock speed..... If you want more horsepower, just upgrade your cpu to 3770k.. My old pentium 4 is able to survive until today :-)
  16. Buy a new processor and motherboard (asrock fatality)..... You have alot of money anyway...
  17. Recheck all wire and connector, 8 pin, 24 pin, gpu power connector, HDD power and sata, and the last thing, double check if there is misconfigure at the front panel connector...
  18. Buy 970 Extreme3, I'm using this motherboard and it is very stable... Or, save some money and go for 990FX chipset, which is better....
  19. Try to remove the heatsink and reassemble it back to the motherboard,.. Make sure that all 4 clip is in its place.. Maybe the heatsink didn't seat properly on the CPU.. If the problem still occur, you have to buy another heatsink... Why don't you use the stock cooler.?
  20. How old are your PSU? What is the brand? I think you'll gonna need tu upgrade the psu because Bulldozer does consume more power compared to Piledriver...
