  1. I’m still debating lol. What do you think? This is how I use my current G900 Chaos Spectrum.
  2. Thank you for the video, very informative. But it did not answer my question as to which one would be better, even taking the video in consideration it just says that 2k is enough for most, so both of them can do that. Which one would be better to get?
  3. Hey everyone, I was about to buy the Pulsar X2V2 Mini with the 4K Wireless Dongle, which together come in at $120, now and Logitech announced that they'll be updating the Pro X Super light 2 to 4K I don't know which one to get again. I wanted to see if anyone has any experience with both or any suggestions. Thank you!
  4. Thank you both for the suggestions! I’ll look into what would be best for me, audio stuff can get pretty expensive pretty quickly.
  5. You mean just do USB speakers directly to the MoBo? Where’s the fun in that!?!?
  6. Hello everyone, I got a pair of Beyerdynamic DT770 Pro's 250Ohm, my plan currently is to pair them with a Shiit Fulla 2 so I can have good sound and MIC input. The only thing I have been thinking is that rigth now I do not have any external speakers, and if I decide later that I want to add a couple, then I would have to change the whole setup again, so I was thinking on just go ahead and spend more now and save some later. I just can't figure out what combination of devices would give me DAC/AMP with MIC in and speakers out. Any recommendations are appreciated. Thank you!
  7. Hey everyone, I am looking for some RAM for my 7800X3D build. Right now I am leaning towards the G.Skill Trident Z5 White/Black, I'm doign a white build and it's either this or Corsair Vengeance, but the Trident have better latency. Now, I have a quick question, which would be best to match with my processor? Newegg has the following options: G.SKILL Trident Z5 Neo Series 64GB (2 x 32GB) 288-Pin PC RAM DDR5 6000 (PC5 48000) Desktop Memory Model F5-6000J3036G32GX2-TZ5NRW with Timing 30-36-36-96 and BIOS/Performance Profile AMD EXPO G.SKILL Trident Z5 RGB Series 64GB (2 x 32GB) 288-Pin PC RAM DDR5 6000 (PC5 48000) Desktop Memory Model F5-6000J3040G32GX2-TZ5RW with Timing 30-40-40-96 and BIOS/Performance Profile Intel XMP 3.0 G.SKILL Trident Z5 RGB Series 64GB (2 x 32GB) 288-Pin PC RAM DDR5 6400 (PC5 51200) Desktop Memory Model F5-6400J3239G32GX2-TZ5RW with Timing 32-39-39-102 and BIOS/Performance Profile Intel XMP 3.0 G.SKILL Trident Z5 RGB Series 64GB (2 x 32GB) 288-Pin PC RAM DDR5 6000 (PC5 48000) Desktop Memory Model F5-6000J3636F32GX2-TZ5RW with Timing 36-36-36-96 and BIOS/Performance Profile Intel XMP 3.0 I don't know much about RAM, but I think the best would be the first option, it has lower timing and AMD EXPO, but is only 6000MHz. What do you guys think, or if you have other options that you would recommend, let me know! Thank you in advance!
  8. Why do you say that? Edit: that both use the Pro switches, the only difference I can see is the expensive one is not hot swappable and the one on sale doesn’t say. But I thought they’re all hot swappable?
  9. Hey everyone, I’m going to purchase a Keychain Q6, and there’s two on Amazon, one is on sale and one is not, I can’t seem to find a difference between them. Can someone tell me what is different between them and why one’s on sale? This one is full price, $226: And this one is on sale for $182.24: Thanks in advance!
  10. Hello everyone, I just bought a car that only has AUX in, so I’m thinking on buying the Qudelix 5K so I can have Bluetooth connectivity and better sound quality. I usually just stream from my phone so that was my whole plan, but not my wife says she wants a solution that can play from USB or MicroSD card. So I’m looking for recommendations on a Digital Audio Player that I can combine with the Qudelix 5K that’s decent but doesn’t break the bank. thank you in advance!
  11. Thank you for that information, that's exactly what I needed to hear. I don't care about the all-black aesthetic or the macro keys. Neither do I care about the Wireless connectivity, this is to use with my desktop only. I've been using 100% keyboards for over 25 years, I've never been able to adjust to anything less than that. I guess I'll wait and see if the Q6 goes on sale for BF.
  12. I’m about to purchase a keyboard, and I was debating between the G915 and the Keychron Q6, but after more research I locked on the Keychron Q6. Right now, the price of the G915 dropped to $160, that’s a savings of $90. So I’m debating if I should get it at this price or spend the extra money for the Keychron Q6, I’ve never tried a Keychron keyboard, is it really worth the extra $70? Thanks for any advice!
  13. Why would you recommend the Alienware over Samsung? I've been reading there's some issues with the G8 but can't figure out what.
  14. Ok, I was wondering because in the first comment you only mentioned the X2 Mini, so I should be looking at the X2V2 Mini. Ok, I've made some alterations, this is how it's looking now. 15. @SorryBella @RONOTHAN## So, I've been working on this all day, I think I've come up with a plan. What do you think? I decided to go with the 4080 since I'll be using a 1440p monitor, and I can allocate that budget somewhere else. Unless I get some good deals for Black Friday, that's when I am planning to start buying with whatever is on sale. 16. Do you use any AMP/DAC with your DT770s? I was thinking on getting the Schiit Magni and Modi for better sound. Thank you for the valuable information, I have a follow up question, what's the difference between the Pulsar X2, X2H, X2A X2V2? They all look the same to me, except some have buttons on both sides for use with both hands. Also, I live in the US, would ordering from the UK would still be better?
  17. That's a lot of info, thank you for sharing. I use fingertip grip and my hand is 7" long by 4" wide. You list makes a lot of sense price wise, but I don't really like the aesthetics. The only reason I was going for the Corsair Cooler is because of the iCue Link, I was planning on getting extra fans for the case. I don't want a bunch of cables hanging out the back. I do like that keyboard, although I like having media buttons for control and that color wouldn't go with my setup. It didn't even ocurred to me that there were some 4090s at that price! I'll have to rethink everything, I would prefer a white build. Thanks for the suggestions, all great PCs.
  18. Budget (including currency): $5,000 Country: U.S.A. Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: Hard to pinpoint, anything from retro game emulators to modern AAA. Other details (existing parts lists, whether any peripherals are needed, what you're upgrading from, when you're going to buy, what resolution and refresh rate you want to play at, etc): Hey everyone, so I am graduating from University soon, and to celebrate, I am going to be building myself a new PC, my all in budget is $5,000, but I do want to do a complete set up makeover. This is what I have so far: CPU: AMD Ryzen 7 7800X3D 4.2 GHz 8-Core Processor ($369.00 @ Amazon) CPU Cooler: Corsair iCUE LINK H150i RGB 63.1 CFM Liquid CPU Cooler ($249.99 @ Amazon) Motherboard: Asus ROG STRIX B650-A GAMING WIFI ATX AM5 Motherboard ($219.99 @ Newegg) Memory: Corsair Dominator Titanium 64 GB (2 x 32 GB) DDR5-6000 CL30 Memory ($294.99 @ Amazon) Storage: Samsung 990 Pro 2 TB M.2-2280 PCIe 4.0 X4 NVME Solid State Drive ($139.99 @ Amazon) Video Card: Asus ROG STRIX GAMING OC GeForce RTX 4080 16 GB Video Card ($1599.99 @ Amazon) Case: Phanteks NV7 ATX Full Tower Case ($199.99 @ Amazon) Power Supply: EVGA SuperNOVA 1000 G6 1000 W 80+ Gold Certified Fully Modular ATX Power Supply ($200.54 @ Amazon) Total: $3274.48 I am still wanting to get new peripherals. My current ones are: Mouse: Logitech G900 Chaos Spectrum (2016) Keyboard: Corsair K70 RGB Rapidfire (2017) Headphones: Corsair VOID Pro RGB Wireless (2017) Monitor 1: Dell S2716DG, 27" 1440p 144hz, G-Sync, TN Panel (2017) Monitor 2: Dell U2723QE, 27" 4K 60hz IPS (2022) As you can see, must of my things are from 2017, that's when I built my last PC, which I don't even have anymore, it's working as a Plex Server atm, and I am rocking a dell laptop that's not even for gaming. For the headphones, I am leaning towards the beyerdynamic DT 770 Pro Studio, with a DAC/AMP, for the mouse and keyboard, I just want something good that's wireless, I am trying to get rid of as many cables as I can! For my monitors, they're okay, but my 1440p one is old and it is starting to show it's age, and the other one I got free from work so I can't complain much, but I am trying to find an OLD Gaming monitor, maybe 32"+, I was thinking on getting maybe an ultrawide and having my two old ones on top for a 3-monitor setup. Anyways, what do you guys think, any suggestions/recommendations? Any information is appreciated! Thank you.
  19. Thanks, I was planning on getting 64GB for Chrome!
  20. Thanks for the suggestions. I don't do any type of content editing or anything like that, I'm more of a "have a lot of chrome tabs open while I do work" and several other programs, just random multitasking. I think I'll go for the 7800X3D, save up some money for the 4080.
  21. Hey everyone, I am looking to upgrade my PC finally, I am currently rocking an i7 6700k, I was waiting for the 14th Gen to drop to make a decision, seeing how lack luster this gen is, I am having troubles deciding which CPU to purchase. Since this is the last gen in Intels current socket, I don't want to purchase a product that will have no upgrade path from the get go, so I was looking at Ryzen 7 7800X3D and the Ryzen 9 7900X3D, it's a $150 in price and having the extra cores for work related things would be nice, but I don't know if the performance is worth it, I've been looking reviews and they're usually "go 7800X3D or 7950X3D", but I really don't want to spend $650 on a processor, and as far as GPU, I was planning on pairing it with a 4080 (or 4080Ti since they're rumored to come out soon). So I wanted to get more opinions on my situation, see what y'all think. Thank you in advance!
  22. I got one of these, I’ll check it out and see if it works, if not I’ll get something more expensive! https://a.co/d/2VjBknn
  23. So I took the TV down and took the cable out of the wall, it’s okay with up to two, once I add the third one it stops working. Question is, how can I make it work, would adding an A/V receiver work? Or is there another device I can get?
