  1. I was planning to use the "normal" mount... When I built the 1080ti block was not compatible aswell, but taking the shroud of the block made it.
  2. I did not, but might look into it. Altho im in Europe, and the Alphacool stuff is not as avaible around here, but thanks.
  3. Hello there I have 9900k + a new Asus Tuf 3080ti and I wanted to watercool this bad boy. Im not new to watercooling since I had this cpu with a watercooled 1080ti strix a while back, and altho it was a little tigh, it did fit indeed... However... When I try the configurator on EKWB site it promps me the error message that this GPU is to wide for my case... Thats ok, since it fits, what Im concerned about is the waterblock... As far I know the only option I have is Quantum Vector TUF... But its 148mm wide... Its enough or it wont let me close the side panel? Anyone tried this? Thanks in advance
  4. Got it... Guess i'll be stuck on simple XMP then... Thank you anyway
  5. Thanks anyway... But still, on the PSU side... I will need to get one with two CPU connectors, am i right?
  6. Still watching the video... So... Basicaly, even with power wattage room, im stuck with these "4 phase" bottleneck?
  7. I read somewhere it was 8+2... Still, its marketed as a premium and high perfomance board...
  8. Hello there I have a ROG Maximus XI Code paired with a 9900k, a Strix GTX1080ti, 16gb Ram, all watercooled inside a Lian Li p011 dynamic... But, the most limiting factor in my build, I admit, its the PSU, a Corsair RM650x ... I mean, its running ok, but since the i9 is a power hungry beast... You get the idea... My point here, is that the MB has an 8 pin cpu conector PLUS 4 pins (for adition CPU power while OC). I've been trying to OC for a while, but found my CPU really struggling a bit at 5,1GHZ all cores... Or even only 5... I tried 1.35vcore, 1,38v, even auto... Only to find my system not 100% stable... (Temps are not a problem, since I have a costum watercooling loop)... My question here... Is really worth it going for more power into the CPU? And what good PSU do you recomend (with 8pins + 4pins)... ? Thank you
  9. Sounds great! That could easly save me 40€ buying the normal VIII Hero. Thanks. Ill look into it
  10. I never trully got into powerlines... Is it worth it?
  11. I know... But I already have a SSD, so getting a m.2 would only be in the future...
  12. The problem is that my router is too far from my place... Setting up a cable is to dificult... And a decent wireless card is around 50€.... I mean, the ones I saw were around 50€...
  13. Not to fast, im afraid... But in the next year or so I'll be moving to a new house and hopefully with a better internet...
