  1. Agreed, if he wants to help, give them your time, your expertise, discounts
  2. I think the conflict of interest is really high, don't be an investor. Be a prominent spokesperson, help them with your contacts, advertise them at a discount, help them with merchandise, fundraise, anything you do with them, make sure it is at a loss, even by a bit. I wouldn't want to see your laptop reviews, if there is any issue at all with framework, it would just feel so weird
  3. Your attitude is quite puzzling... People just wanted to help you? To anyone reading this and needing to buy a PSU, EVGA G3 650W is a really great choice if it's in your budget
  4. Like every single review I've ever seen for it mentions the install isn't pleasant. Changing thermal paste shouldn't affect anything no? Wasn't the hard part the whole backplate thing?
  5. I second the Shadow Rock Slim if a quiet cooler is what you are after, its acoustic efficiency is really good for the price
  6. Not only is it very quiet, the acoustic signature is my favorite among any fan I've heard under 1000 RPM: http://www.silentpcreview.com/article1384-page5.html
  7. The Shadow Rock Slim would be a perfect fit
  8. X61 is great performance, and not as loud as some AIO... Dark Rock Pro 3 is really a nice looking cooler and is quiet as hell, performance is not the best IMO but if you are looking for silent during low loads, this is great. Phanteks one is perhaps the most similar to the D15. Looks really good when you can match the colour with the rest of your build. Quiet but not silent on low load, but might keep your chip cooler at high loads than the Dark Rock Pro 3
  9. http://m.newegg.com/Product?itemNumber=9SIA68V21E0643&Keyword=Shadow%20rock%20slim Slightly out of budget but one of my favourites
  10. SB800 intake is a bit restrictive in the front. I'd suggest focusing on 140mm for intake though, as airflow for the noise is usually better for 140mm
  11. I have the SB800 as well and have been trying different fans as well. Funnily, the F140XP ended being the quietest so far for me! What kind of noise did you hear from them? What RPM were you running them at? I'll try to test them out some more and try to give you specifics, do note I don't have the drive cages installed though, and are controlling them through PWM. I struggling for the 120mm exhaust fan. For now I'm thinking of just putting another F140XP on top for the exhaust. Honestly, if you want an easy way, just do 120mm fan exhaust with the Silent Wings 2 and 2x 140mm fan versions as intakes and be done with it, keeping the same acoustic signature throughout.

    Which Cpu cooler

idk, CM matters more because of looks, how much longer you can spend on it, it being affected by most changes in your computer etc. I don't think BQ coolers have low quality mounting solution, just a more frustrating one. In the specific case of Be Quiet, I think the pros definitively outway the cons. I haven't tested the most recent Cooler Master options, but I usually end up spending more time installing Hyper 212+ / EVO coolers than Shadow Rock Slim or Dark Rock 3 coolers
  13. I've never had issues installing Be Quiet coolers, and not something you do very often, so I wouldn't even take that into consideration if I were you. Mild OC: Shadow Rock Slim Medium OC: Dark Rock 3 or Dark Rock Pro 3, Cryorig isn't bad but for silence, BQ is best IMO High OC: Noctua D15(S) I went with the Dark Rock Pro 3, and replaced the 120mm by a second 135mm fan (you can order one from Be Quiet for 10$ USD free ship)
  14. You don't need a huge CPU cooler. Consider the Shadow Rock Slim. PSU wise, 750W will be massive overkill. EVGA G2 650W maybe? If there is a 550W version that would work too.

    Which Cpu cooler

I never have problems installing Be Quiet coolers, but the consensus is its not as pleasant as Noctua and the like. Unless you keep taking out your cooler for some reason, is it worth even considering? How much are you thinking of overclocking? Personally I think going for huge, high end coolers are a waste of money for most. If you want to stay with a mild / average OC, something like the Shadow Rock Slim is great. Otherwise, post above mine is a nice summary
