  1. Looking to build a new rig with higher end parts, but dont know where to start when it comes to cpu's. I currently have an i5 4460 in my current build but I definitely am looking for an upgrade compared to that. Also interested in maybe some overclocking. Open to all ideas
  2. My feelings hurt don't say stuff like that. I'll tell on you
  3. thanks daddy
  4. for the record I didnt pick the psu lmao know corsair is shit. I have a seasonic in my rig
  5. Putting together a parts list for my friend he wants it mainly for video editing and light gaming (minecraft, csgo, LoL,). So is this a good one? Also what else would you change out for better performance? PCPartPicker part list / Price breakdown by merchant CPU: Intel Core i5-4590 3.3GHz Quad-Core Processor ($188.75 @ OutletPC) Motherboard: ASRock H97M PRO4 Micro ATX LGA1150 Motherboard ($79.89 @ OutletPC) Memory: Corsair Vengeance Pro 16GB (2 x 8GB) DDR3-1866 Memory ($69.99 @ Newegg) Storage: Samsung 850 EVO-Series 250GB 2.5" Solid State Drive ($84.34 @ Amazon) Storage: Western Digital Caviar Blue 1TB 3.5" 7200RPM Internal Hard Drive ($48.88 @ OutletPC) Video Card: Asus GeForce GTX 750 Ti 2GB Video Card ($104.80 @ Newegg) Case: Corsair SPEC-02 ATX Mid Tower Case ($56.98 @ Newegg) Power Supply: Corsair Builder 500W 80+ Bronze Certified ATX Power Supply ($29.99 @ Newegg) Total: $663.62 Prices include shipping, taxes, and discounts when available Generated by PCPartPicker 2016-01-24 14:03 EST-0500
  6. Whats the difference in performance between these two cpus?
  7. Trying to decide what the best peripherals would be for me and it always helps to get another opinion especially when most of you have experience with these. So I play anything from fps to mobas and everything in between, so what would be the best of both worlds for me? For keyboards should I get: Corsair K70-95 rgb or Razer blackwidow chroma (I do like Marcos) And for the mouse should I get Razer death adder, Logitech G502, steelseries rival, or the corsair m65?
  8. Okay ill get the 380 but should I get the Sapphire or MSI 380?
  9. why the gigabyte one yoda?
  10. Hello my fellow techy pc people. My mind has been in quite the pickle trying to decide between these 2 cards. I am leaning more towards the 960 right now just due to their shadow play software, low temps, & low power consumption and good performance. The EVGA GeForce GTX 960 & MSI Radeon R9 are the same price right now for $230 which one should I go with? I know it should be a no brainer to go with the 380 due to performance and what not but I'm afraid of it over heating and shutting down on me. If you own either of these cards or just have advice on which one I should get pls halp thx bb. GG NO RE 2016 10/10 would post again PS My name is unji and I love cows
  11. Thinking about going with an msi gtx 960 but not sure if others would be better. Lemme know
  12. I'm stuck on which one to get. I don't play really demanding high end games, and the 960 apparently consumes a lot less power which is what I'm mainly concerned about because I bought a 520w seasonic psu. Sooo which one shall I get? I play games like Skyrim, Fallout 3/NV, GTA, BF4, CS:GO, LoL, Bioshock ect.
  13. Alright thanks! I'll go with the 520 and see how it goes.
  14. I did a psu calculator test and it said recommend 470w with a load of 420 so am I safe with 520 or go up to 600w?
