  1. So I had a look, by default the ram runs at 2133mhz and 1.208V. Now you've said that, the ram does recommend to be at 1.35, but im guessing that when its actually running at 3600mhz? where in this case its not
  2. Sorry for the late reply, was working! The BSOD error i used to get was THREAD STUCK IN DEVICE DRIVER, although that completely stopped after I updated the bios. For voltage and frequency, i've tried what ever the XMP profiles give me and also the default settings, I can get them for you if youd like?
  3. I've updated the BIOS to the latest version, ive also tried at different overclocks on the ram, including no overclock at all, so not too sure.
  4. Yep, i've already cleared the CMOS on multiple occasions. I've also updated to the latest bios/set bios settings to default
  5. Hey guys!, About two months ago I purchased some more RAM for my PC to bump it up to 32 GB. Ever since then I started to get consistent blue screen of deaths and PC restarts. At first I guessed it was because of the new RAM so I removed it from the system, but I still didn't get any fix. The stuff i've tried is: Running the PC with different RAM Running the PC with a different CPU Updating all drivers for the PC Updating the BIOS to the latest version from the MSI website Reformatting my operating system and completely wiping my PC clean. The PC has never been overclocked, but i've also tried to run the PC with an XMP profile. Since reformatting the PC the BSOD are gone, but the PC is still automatically restarting its self without any pre warning, it just crashes. I've had a look in Windows Event Logger and im getting an error from WHEA-Logger: A fatal hardware error has occurred. After a lot of googling around there has been a LOT of different 'solutions' to this problem, none have which fixed my PC, the only part I haven't replaced in the 'Processor Core' is the motherboard, so I thought i'd reach out to MSI, they've came back and told me its because the new RAM I tried to use is a different version to the first kit that is in my PC, although i've told them ive used both kits on their own, and also that i've even used only the old RAM that never had a problem. MSI have now ignored two of my following emails and have stopped helping... My PC Specs: MSI X570-A Pro AMD Ryzen 5 3600 AMD Vega 64 Corsair Vengeance RGB PRO 4x8GB (One set is ver4.32, and the other is ver 3.31) Corsair 650GQ I've got two questions, one being, if all my RAM is running at the same voltage and clock speed (given its also not overclocked or has an XMP profile enabled), should having multiple versions matter that much? The second question being, any clue what could be causing these restarts as ive tried the system with new RAM and a new CPU?

  7. i5 4690k 16GB DDR3 @ 2400mhz and it also happens on my SSD and my HDD.
  8. Hello. So for about the past month or so my steam download speeds have been ridiculous. I usually download games at about 25mb/s on average but for some reason im struggling to even get 1mb/s. It also seems to cut out a lot as in it will start downloading, get to about 6mb/s then just go to 0kb/s, then if I give it about 2 minutes it will start downloading again but at about 100-500kb/s. I have switched download servers, toggled my modem/route on and off but nothing seems to work. My brothers computer which is connected in to the same route gets my usual speeds of about 25mb/s. Any ideas?
  9. Yo, I got my new Steelseries M800 today and it extremely nice. The illumination is flawless and the typing feels great. But, for some reason the keys become unresponsive after 5-10 minutes of idling. I've tried disabling the USB power saver, I've made sore to try different USB slots and ive reinstalled and updated the firmware multiple times. I'm really not sure how to fix this problem. any ideas?
  10. Alright gonna get a friend to help me with manually overclocking since his 4790k is at like 4.8ghz. Thanks for the reply
  11. Specs: GPU - R9 390 CPU - i5 4690k oc'd to 4.3Ghz Cooler - Noctua NH-D15 MB - Asus Z97-P RAM - 16GB DDR3 So, I got my CPU quite a while back but never go around to overclocking it. I recently used AI suite to do so, but for some reason its still unstable (I think) I can play any game at highest setting for hours with out any problems, but for some reason in the past 24 hours I have crashed 3 times whilst watching Netflix and playing Runescape on my other monitor. I can play Arma 3 for hours on end with 0 problems, but as soon as I start watching Netflix and playing runescape I crash after about an hour. My over clock started on 4.5 Ghz, but ive slowly nudged it down to 4.2Ghz and its still crashing. Ive stress tested it multiple times and it seems to be fine, until I start to multitask. Any ideas? Thanks.
  12. What do you think could bottleneck it? its not like its extremely good, nor extremely bad? and thanks for the clarification
  13. Specs: GPU - R9 390 CPU - i5 4690k MB - Asus Z97-P RAM - 16GB DDR3 So, ever since i got my GPU back in April I have noticed that no matter what I play my GPU seems to either sit at 100% or spike to 100% Im not sure whether this is completely normal or unhealthy for my GPU. I can understand that it sits at 100% load when im playing GTA V on ultra, but im just sitting here watching netflix and playing runescape and its spiking like crazy. Even if I just watch a youtube video it does this. Thanks for the help
