  1. I was going to buy a pg279q monitor (which is ~$700) when I noticed that there was another version, the pg279qz, ( ~$600) so I went to investigate the differences. The only source of information I could find was on rtings.com: https://www.rtings.com/monitor/tools/compare/asus-rog-pg279q-vs-asus-pg279qz/578/727 So the difference is a 70nit less bright screen on the pg279qz for a $100 price reduction. My question is whether this will make a noticeable difference playing games and if I should buy the pg279qz if it doesn't make a difference? Thanks!
  2. Hello LTT forum, Recently a friend gave me this power bank as a gift. Now I happened to like the looks of the product; it's stylish and tastefully modern. And 10,000mAh was an awesome surprise as my previous bank was only 1000 mAh. However, when tried to I looked up the creators of this product, I was met with nothing on a manufacturer, designer, or anything. Upon further inspection of the product, I saw the peculiar signs of a suspicious product. I was wondering if anyone could help me identify this device. Before I start, I actually found the Newegg page for this device. Here is the link: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=9SIA6BR4B17039 Firstly, the only identification of this product was a model number D10 and "Power Bank" on the box: Here is the voltage rating on the side of the battery, but again no company name, only "Power Bank". There is also the infamous "Made in China": Here are some other photos of the device: Finally we come to the manual. In short, it barely makes sense and is complete garbage. (The other side is just a copy of the front): Now, if this is truly unidentifiable, then I understand that I might not get the performance advertised; that is not my concern. I am more concerned about potential safety hazards when using this device. If I see that a product shows no signs of a manufacturer like this, is the product safe to use? Am I justified in thinking this way or are my fears irrational? Thank you!
  3. Hi, I was planning to get a mechanical keyboard to replace the bluetooth membrane keyboard i have been using since 2010. I am considering these four options. Which one should i get? Thanks!
  4. What about the PSU? Is it ok to have it the way i have it now, fan face down?
  5. Hi, i am wondering if the current cooling solution is effective for my current setup. My basic computer specs are AMD FX-6300 processor and a XFX R9 285 graphics card. Please excuse the messy cable management. My case is the BitFenix Neos. The CPU cooler is the stock cooler with a heat sink and a fan attached to it that blows air from the sink to the outside. I have a Noctua NF-S12A blowing into the case (hence the brown thing in the top left). I have two fans that blow into the case at the front, a cooler master sickle flow 2000 rpm and the default case fan that came with the case. The psu is taking in air from a filtered intake at the bottom of the case. The two front fans are filtered by foam while the back fan is not filtered. Thanks!
