  1. I'm getting lots of red even though I'm not playing a video.
  2. I've noticed that when I'm playing a video (any format, and saved locally), the audio stutters and becomes choppy every minute or two. I'm using the a speaker that is connected directly to the onboard sound card (Creative® Sound Core 3D chip) of my mobo (G1 Sniper M5). I've tested if the issue is with the player but I think it's not. I've tested the same video on both VLC and MPC, but the audio is still stuttering.
  3. I'm planning to buy a 1TB internal hard drive that will be used to store different virtual machines. What I mean is that the .vmdk files will be stored on the hard drive that I'm buying. I just want to ask which hard drive to get, WD Black or WD Blue? I'm considering the cost, performance, and reliability of the hard drive. I'm also open for other brands. Thanks!
  4. Thanks for the confirmation that it is not a defect.
  5. I know it's not a big deal. I'm just curious and my OCness is striking. Haha.
  6. Sorry about that. I edited my post. Now there's the pic.
  7. I bought this G602 last month and today I noticed that there's cut on the lower left corner of the mouse. I'm not sure if it's a design or not. I'm the only one using the mouse and I'm sure that the mouse didn't fall or what. Here's the pic for reference regarding the "cut" that I'm talking about. It's not really visible in a picture but it's visible if you look closely with your naked eye. If you guys are using the same mouse, kindly take a look if you also have the same "cut". If yes, then I guess it is really part of the design. Thanks.
  8. Thanks for the reminder. Hopefully this post will not get buried easily. Hehe
  9. Thanks for your help and for the info I'll wait first if someone will be able to provide a decent and budget-friendly build for a NAS.
  10. May I ask why did you suggest WD Cloud? I've searched the net and it shows that Synology is the common choice of the consumers.
  11. Currently, my network storage is just an external HDD (5400 rpm) connected to my router (TP-Link Archer C2 AC750) via USB. I'm using this network storage for storing large files, watching movies (by directly playing the file), and watching movies on my smart tv using plex (using my PC as the plex server). The reason that I'm looking for a NAS is that there are times, when many users are accessing the storage network, wherein the transfer speed is so slow (10Mbps) and the movies that I'm watching lags. I'm not sure if it's a good idea to transfer the plex server to a NAS or just keep using my PC as the server. All of my movies' codecs are compatible with my smart tv so I'm just using "Direct Play" in plex and I think I don't need any transcoding. If I'm using the NAS as the plex server, plex and transcoding does not support all NAS available. So my first question: Is it wise to buy plex compatible NAS or just keep using my PC as my server? My next question (based on what will be the answer to my first) is What NAS should I get that is budget-friendly? Lastly, What HDD should I use on my NAS? Thanks for your help guys.
