  1. Never mind guys, I’ve found an alternate solution, My last option was is use my coolermaster universal vertical gpu mount V2, had this spare and was about to sell it off, for this i had to drill a hole into the removable vertical pcie slot bracket of the case (corsair 7000x), the hole was drilled for the big nut screw to keep the whole thing steady and strong. The only issue with this is i cannot use 2 of my gpu (2080ti aorus Xtreme) hdmi/display port sockets, because a few upper case metal bracket pieces were in the way and it’s not removable, unless I cut it! But I dont want to do that. So no worries i will use the alternative ports on the gpu. So then the problems solved (kinda). Was hoping I could use the inbuilt vertical slot, but then companies making their own type of riser extenders with different screw alignment which is a pain in the a$$! Why can’t they all agree and make one standard type?, that’s just annoying! Anyway, I’m sending the riser back to amazon, unharmed! And no I couldn’t move the riser base to the left because the gpu socket wouldn’t align into the case socket for proper seating. And I couldn’t drill a hole into the case of right side even if I wanted to because the case had this triangular design on the shroud (look in the imgur album pictures link in the main post) so I couldn’t make that possible, overall drilling holes into the base of the case is out of the option list. Thanks for all the help anyway and cheers!
  2. A small hole enough for a screw is not advised? I saw a post of someone that did this in the “amazon product - questions and answers section”, thought I’d confirm with more people if it’s possible.
  3. Hello, is it possible to drill a hole into the cable base? I just got the asus rog STRIX riser cable and the screw hole alignment is different to my case. I have the Corsair 7000x, I tried the corsair riser cable but that was just too long (300mm) while the asus is perfect in size (240mm).
  4. Are you sure? Because there is no way I can return this, eBay is importing this from the U.S! If it doesn't fit I'm gonna be stuck with it. Thanks!
  5. Hi, I have a generation type 2 white Corsair cable kit (including the 24pin set) for my AX 860 and I'm really confused with the wire opening size. I have a vendor offering an option between 2.5 (2.65mm) and 2.85mm sizes. Which one should I go for ? The only option for Cable Combs I have is from a brand named Munky Mods - Pro Flex series. http://geb.ebay.in/ImportHubViewItem?itemid=162229271605 I am from Mumbai (Bombay), India and this seems like the only option I have and importing it through eBay (India). It is mentioned on the web link that 2.5mm will fit Corsair PSU's but I checked another site and they were recommending the biggest size for the Gen 2 Type Cable Kit. So here I am confused AF! HELP!
  6. Hi, I need help regarding my new case "corsair 760t graphite series arctic white"! My PC specs - Gigabyte Z97X UD5H BK Gskill 1866mhz 8x2 16gb ram ASUS 780ti dcu2 oc Samsung pro 256gb Intel i7 4790k Corsair ax860 So the promlems are that I can't seem to configure the fan speed selector (however I tested the fans and they work via the motherboard), the power button led ain't working and the reset button is flickering. Now what have I done wrong? I've followed my motherboard manual and the 760t manual for help. 760t manual says connect the fan cables to the mobo headers on page 9 and page 13 says connect 3-4 pin connector to case fan header. Also the stealth cover for the ODD doesn't fit above my ASUS DVD drive.
  7. Yeah it's looks standard but from the picture it seems quite thick (as in high) My only fear is the case panel not closing coz of that. don't wana jam anything. Anyways will order it and see for myself. Can always embed it to the floor of the case or somewhere like that. Thanks
  8. Ok thanks! Noctua is available here, other brands don't think so.. Will check some 140mm Noctua fans..
  9. Oh okay. I thought Corair fans were good. What other brand recommendation would you say? Name, make, brand?
  10. Hi, I'm purchasing the Corsair Grapite Series 760t artic white case. My question is will the new NZXT Hue+ RGB light strip controller (SSD sized) fit on the side SSD drive slot bay? I have one other SSD and one slot will be vacant so I heard he hue+ fits on any SSD slots. Will it be too thick (high) for the case plate to close? Or should I put it somewhere else. Anyone have this current combination?
  11. Thanks Enderman! Will probably do Intake from front and exhaust at the back and top (LiquidCooler) Now can you tell me which Corair 140mm fans I should go for? Non LED!
  12. A few degrees would certainly help. So I gotta put all 4 fans as exhaust.. That would suck out all the hot air right. Or should I make it to push air into the case? With the back case fan as only exhaust. I have a dust problem too.. Stuff gets dusty inside quickly.. 2-3 weeks and a layer of dust can be seen.. Heard exhaust above would help in that situation..

  14. Hi, I'm purchasing a Corair graphite series 760t case along with the Corsair Hydro H110i GTX 280mm Liquid cooling AIO .. So I'm new to water cooling and my question is I recently saw a video where they applied 4 fans on the Liquid cooler 2 above and 2 below screwed onto it. Can you tell me what effect it has if I add 2 more fans to it? Is it nessesary? I'm going to fix it above and not on the front. Intake from front and exhaust from above and back of case. Using all stock 140mm fans which will come with the case. Or can you recommend which 140mm corsair fan I should go for ? Non LED version as I'm going to anyway put the NZXT Hue+ rgb light strips later on. And also will the Hue+ fit on the SSD bay side slots or is it too thick? Thanks in advance..
  15. Hmm.. Thing is EK and Swifttech is not available here yet, my current store options are Cooler Master, NZXT and Corsair. So I'm stuck to these options. If I had the chance I'd go for a custom water cooling system and assemble it myself. But unfortunately where I live it's not available here in Mumbai, India, options are quite limited. Read some other forums and there too people can't decide between h110i gtx or kraken x61, they seem to be torn between the two. Anyway for my i7 4790k you guys think the h110i gtx will keep the temps low? Also feel the quality is better at corsair, think il stick to them..
  16. Hey peeps, I need some help regarding my rig.. My current PC specs - Motherboard - Gigabyte GA-Z97X-UD5H-BK (Ultra Durable Black Edition) CPU Processor - Intel Core i7 4790K @4.00 GHz Stock GPU - ASUS GeForce GTX 780Ti DirectCU II OC-3GD5 - Nvidia Graphics Card RAM - 2x8=16Gb Gskill RipjawsX F3-14900CL10D-16GBXl DDR3 Memory @1866Mhz PSU - Corsair AX860 ATX Power Supply Data Storage - Samsung 850 Pro 256GB SSD + Seagate HDD 2TB + Western Digital HDD 1TB Green + Western Digital HDD 1TB Blue Current PC Case - NZXT Lexa S Mid-Sized Tower (Concept Edition) So, firstly I'm upgrading my PC case to the Corsair Graphite series 760t coz for sure a large AIO liquid cooler ain't gonna fit in my current one. And yeah I like fully windowed PC cases. Gonna put the NZXT hue+ later on too. (Any other pc case options would be welcome) My problem - Okay, so I'm currenly having a lot of heating problems. Occasionally I get a blue screen on Windows 10 while playing battlefield 4 and some laggy nonsense sometimes on other games. I notice my temps reach 90 degrees while playing bf4. I use the NZXT Cam software to track my data. I've noticed my ram shows only 8gb while playing bf4? also shows its at 1333mhz (Any idea whys that?) otherwise on the cam program it self says 16gb. So that's weird. Anyway so from all this I know it's not good and It could be any one of the reasons my PC crashes. But mostly I think it's the heating problem, so that's one of the reasons why I want to get a water cooler. I'm currenly looking at the Corsair H110i GTX extreme performance AIO solution cooler (heard its the current best from Corsair?) and the NZXT kraken X61 or maybe h100i gtx? I'm not sure myself which one to get. I want something that's powerful and it should look good inside the case. So if you guys could give me some advice and tips I'd be greatful! Thanks!
