  1. I am through a local company called TEC. I wouldn't be surprised if they are a re-seller of AT&T. It is a fixed line DSL.
  2. Hello! First off I would like to state that my ISP is completely awful so there is that. The problem I am having is that I am unable to get to certain websites. Most websites work fine it just so happens to be a select few that won't work. I immediately thought this to be DNS issues. I have changed my DNS servers multiple times, flushed the DNS settings and I am still unable to connect. For the example I will use netflix.com I type netflix.com into my browser and...absolutely nothing. twitch.tv it loads but takes over 3-4 minutes to load in the website and sometimes it is unable to even do that. Other sites like google and youtube work perfectly fine though. Below is a tracert to netflix.com. You will see that it times out after hitting a few different servers. If I ping it shows 100% Packet loss as well. Is this a DNS issue? An IP issue? Is this something I can resolve or even try? Like I said I have tried multiple DNS and none have worked. Thanks for any information! ---------------------Tracert-------------------------- Tracing route to netflix.com [52.22.163.117] over a maximum of 30 hops: 1 <1 ms <1 ms <1 ms 192.168.2.1 2 23 ms 22 ms 22 ms 74.112.104.1 3 22 ms 22 ms 22 ms 65.183.109.1 4 24 ms 22 ms 22 ms 65.183.96.49 5 22 ms 22 ms 23 ms 65.183.96.25 6 32 ms 32 ms 32 ms 206.121.120.9 7 36 ms 38 ms 39 ms 12.122.85.194 8 32 ms 32 ms 33 ms cr81.dlstx.ip.att.net [12.123.18.117] 9 32 ms 32 ms 32 ms 206.121.72.34 10 * * * Request timed out. 11 * * * Request timed out. 12 * * * Request timed out. 13 * * * Request timed out. 14 * * * Request timed out. 15 * * * Request timed out. 16 72 ms 80 ms 79 ms 54.239.108.216 17 62 ms 60 ms 60 ms 54.239.110.138 18 80 ms 67 ms 69 ms 54.239.110.135 19 62 ms 61 ms 63 ms 54.239.108.165 20 * * * Request timed out. 21 61 ms 61 ms 61 ms 205.251.244.95 22 * * * Request timed out. 23 * * * Request timed out. 24 * * * Request timed out. 25 * * * Request timed out. 26 * * * Request timed out. 27 * * * Request timed out. 28 * * * Request timed out. 29 * * * Request timed out. 30 * * * Request timed out. 3. If you need to see any other settings let me know, thanks
  4. So I am having a very frustrating issue and that is that my pc keeps randomly freezing. My temps are all fine and my aio corsair h60 pump seems to be functioning fine as well. I do use a dual boot setup; ssd for os and hdd for storage. I am not exactly sure what is causing it and would be very thankful for any help! So now the things that I have done to troubleshoot. I have ran multiple virus/malware scans, Updated drivers/firmware, reinstalled windows 10 fresh install, installed windows 8.1 fresh install. None of these solutions worked so I decided to take my ssd out of the picture to see if it might be the point of failure; nope same issues when using my hdd as the boot device. Now I did notice that I was getting an error message with my ssd that read "high unsafe power loss rate". My only guess is that there is an issue with the PSU maybe? Thanks for any and all help! 5. I have a GTX 750 lol. I will be upgrading it soon once the overpricing of some of the newer cards go away. My PSU is a EVGA 600 Watt.
  6. Yes sorry forgot to mention, I have all of that and the case supports supports full atx mobos
  7. Yes that is all I would need. Already have some money set aside for memory.
  8. Best Intel CPU/MOBO combo under $600. (All parts perferably through Amazon) I will be using this PC for recording and heavy video editing so the more cores the better. Also I am comfortable with purchasing used parts to cut some cost.
  9. Okay, so I just purchased an AMD Fx 8350 and now I'm looking into Overclocking this cpu. I don't have much experience with Overclocking and I noticed a lot of information out there can be very specific to the hardware that is involved when it comes to settings and the overclocks that you can get. I just purchased a Corsair H60 Performance AIO liquid cooler, and I was wondering what kind of overclock I can somewhat expect out of this cooler. I want to get a decent overclock out of this but nothing too insane. Currently my system consist of cpu- AMD fx 8350 cooler- will be Corsair H60 as of tomorrow mobo- ASUS M5A97 LE R2.0 AM3+ AMD 970 ram- 12 gb of Kingston hyper x 1600 MHz cl10 Hdd- wd blue 1tb ssd- trion 120 gb psu- evga 600watt bronze gfx- gfx 750 Basicly if someone can give me a decent stable starting point for an overclock on this cpu that would be great. Once again I don't know much about Overclocking and any tips/help would be much appreciated. If you need to know anything else just lmk and thanks in advance! -I also know it can vary from each individual cpu
  10. I've already got a system, and I just upgraded my RAM and added a ssd, so now I thought I would upgrade the cpu. I currently don't have a mobo mainly because I'm not sure on the cpu yet. I'm upgrading from an AMD athlon x4 750k so pretty much anything would be an improvement but I just really need something that gets the job done (mentioned above) in that $200-$250 price range.
  11. I'm looking for the best CPU for recording PC Games that is under $250. Needs to be able to handle 720-1080p recording and streaming through OBS and/or XSplit. (Note- I don't plan on playing the new most hardware demanding games. I will be playing more like indie games, and CS:GO) I don't care if it is Intel or AMD I just want it to do everything I need it to without going out of my budget. If you got any questions for me lmk.
  12. So should the 8320e and/or 8370e be able to handle my above mentioned workload? To me it seems like it would I just like to have other informed opinions. Also whatever I get I plan on adding an all in one liquid cooler.
  13. I will be using Skype, Chrome, while recording gameplay, audio, and webcam. When not recording I will also be using Skype, Chrome, Adobe Premiere, Adobe Photoshop, and sometimes other programs. Most of the time I will have a lot if not all of these programs open or at least need them open.
  14. Okay so I plan on upgrading my PC very soon and I am not really sure of what CPU I should get. I play games from time to time but that isn't really my main concern. I want a CPU that can handle the workload when I start to record. I will mainly be recording console gameplay (I know I'm horrible) through the Elgato Game Capture(1080p 60fps), Audio through Audacity, Webcam through Logitech's Recording software, and also be running some process in the background. I will from time to time also be recording PC games so that is still a concern but not a major one, mainly because my graphics card I believe will be the major factor with that. So not trying to start an AMD vs Intel war but I need get opinions on what CPU would be best for my situation. I will be multitasking quite a bit. My main concern is getting a CPU that will get the job done for near the lowest price possible. I don't mind going a little over but I don't want to go overkill for what I actually need. So to the main question, should I go with an AMD fx 8 Core Processor that is Cheaper, or a Intel i7 or i5 4 Core processor. With this all being said I would prefer to spend the least amount of money to get the job done but I want to be sure that the CPU will be able to achieve my needs for recording. I would prefer to stay in the under $300 price range! The CPUs that I have currently been looking at are the AMD FX 8370 and the Intel i5 4590 Note: I will be purchasing the CPUs through Amazon, because I have Prime and I save money and get free 2 day shipping through Amazon.
