Hello everyone,
I've used a homeplug (TP-Link AV 500) for a couple of years, connected via ethernet to my pc and router. Usually i got around 70 mb/s down and 10 mb/s up (on a 200 mb/s down, 20 mb/s up plan). Lately the speed started to lower to about 30-40 mb/s, so I figured I run an ethernenet cable directly from my router to my pc (not a permanent option). With this direct connection I do get the 200 mb/s down and 20 mb/s up speed. Everything should be better right? No. I noticed that I got a lot of lag (rubberbanding) in Overwatch (also before the latest patch), even though I never had lag before. The ping remains virtually unchanged.
So I got two questions:
1) Does anybody know what causes the lag in-game.
2) Are there any other, better options to get internet to both my PC and Laptop (lan and wifi), without running a cable from one end of my appartment to the other?
Thanks, in advance
