  1. So this is what I've got planned. I found the Nzxt Grid+ V2, which is a fan hub that can have up to six fans pluged in. Also it has a program which allows you to control fan speed based on temps like I wanted. So what I'm wondering is, could I use a 4x 3-pin connector for each of my radiator fan sets (So 1x quad radiator with 4x fans connected to the splitter going into one of the nzxt fan ports, which I would do for both my quad radiators), then use a 3x 3-pin adapter to connect the 3x front fans in my system up to 1x fan port on the nzxt hub, and then plug my last rear fan into another fan hub port? Also would the molex power cable on the Nzxt fan hub be able to give enough power to all my fans without shorting? The links to the hub and splitters are below. 2. So I'm going to have 12x 120 mm fans in my pc (8 for 2x quad radiators, 3 in the front, and 1 in the rear, all 3-pin) and I want to be able to control them using speedfan or a similar program. The thing is, I'm pretty sure I would have to connect all the fans to my mobo which really isn't possible. So, how would I connect all of them to the mobo and have the fans getting enough power, and be able to use speedfan? The mobo I'm using is Asus ROG STRIX X99 GAMING ATX LGA2011-3 Motherboard. Also money isn't an issue. Thanks for your help!
  3. I don't like to throw away pc componet boxes so I want to store them in it. Also I want to put a butcher top on two of them to form a desk.
  4. No I don't want a server cabinet, just a normal cabinet that you would put like shoes or boxes in.
  5. I've been searching everywhere for a cabinet that is 30 inches wide, around 30 inches tall and around 24 inches deep, but I can't find one. I'm wanting it in white but black will do too. Anyone know where I can something like this or where I can order a custom built one? Thanks!
  6. ok thanks! I'll look and see what my local home depot has or some place similar. As for the legs, I've been looking around for some type of drawers or cabinets to replace the legs, but still looking.
  7. Would Mayhems Extreme be better in replace of the PT Nuke? https://mayhems.co.uk/algaecides/biocide-extreme-10ml/

  9. I will start with 5 ltrs of Ultra Pure H20 and then add PT Nuke. I will use Mayhem Dyes to make it a green color afterwards. Will this be a good fluid mix for my loop? I want it to be an opaque color but if this makes it transparent that's fine too. If someone knows a better way to make it opaque, then let me know. Thanks! 10. No. Please tell me where I should post this instead.
  11. ***I don't know if this is the right spot for this post*** So what I think I'm going to do is buy a butcher block maple top that is 120x30" and 1-3/4" thick. I'm also going to buy a set of 4 Hafele table E-Legs (28" height) to attach to each corner of the top. I just have three questions. 1. It says the butcher block top is 174 lbs and the legs I'm getting can hold 220 lbs per leg. I would think that the legs would hold it, but being that the top is so wide, if I didn't put anything to hold it up in the middle, would the top start to bow or would the top even be stable with just the four legs? 2. It say that the butcher block top has a wear-resistant Varnique finish. What could be compared to how that feels? I'm wanting the desk to feel like a smooth qaurtz top kind of feel that looks semi glossy, but the glossy look isn't as important as the feel is. Is this wear-resistant Varnique finish going to feel like that and if not, what would I have to do to change it to my desired feel? 3. I am wanting to mount things to the bottom of this via screws. Would this butcher block top allow for that? Is there a certain way I would have to mount things when I start screwing? Is it going to crack the wood when I mount things if not done properly? Thanks for taking the time to answer my question and the links to top and legs are below. Links: The butcher block top: https://www.amazon.com/Relius-Solutions-Butcher-Block-M... 12. I'm not sure if my displayport port on my 970 is dead or not, so I order a new cable to test the issue since the one I have currently is non-compliant. If the port turns out dead, can I purchase a dvi-d to displayport cable and use that with my g-sync monitor and still be able to use g-sync at 1080p resolution? Also, is there a such thing as dvi-i to dvi-d or dvi-i to vga?
  13. After looking into the problem more I'm super worried. Apparently my displayport cables must not use the 20th pin or you risk damaging hardware. Well I'm afraid my gtx 970 had gotten the displayport port damaged from this cable (not sure untill I get a new cable). Can someone link me to a known displayport cable that is atleast 3ft that does not use this 20th pin. Also, if my gtx 970 turns out to have lost the displayport function, can I rma it or no. Also, if the DP port is dead could I use a dvi-i or dvi-d to displayport cable with my AOC G2460PG monitor? Edited to say: It looks like my 970 has 3 year warranty. would evga cover a new card or repair mine if the DP cable ruined the port?
