1080 ti or 1180?

That's what I'm thinking need to save up anyway.

Currently rocking an i7 2700k @4.8ghz. Plan on buying gtx 1180 at launch.

So I want to upgrade the rest of my system. Also should I wait for 8 core intel cpu's to be on the main stream? My current system.
