Thanks a lot for your advice. I have a 4790k and I'm gonna choose the GTX 1080. Is there any point getting the G1 Gaming over the normal one? (specifically £509.99 "GIGABYTE NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1080 G1 GAMING" VS £469.99 "Gigabyte Nvidia GTX 1080 GDDR5 8GB OC WF3 PCI-E")

Recently my 970 died on me (I've started the RMA process and I'm getting a new one in the next week) and I've been looking to upgrade for quite a while. I haven't been involved in hardware and all the new stuff for about one year so I don't know what's good now. I have £500 budget but I'm flexible. I've been stuck on the GTX 1080 or 1080ti (specifically the "GIGABYTE NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1080 G1 GAMING") but would appreciate any suggestions. (preferably the GPU can be bought on Amazon UK)

Hey, I was playing CSGO today and all of a sudden my computer shutdown, I unscrewed it to find it very warm. I tried to power back on but the fans spin for a second then turn off, the power button stayed lit up even though I was holding it to shut down. I got past this issue by doing the paperclip test and now my system runs alright, however, my GPU is not working. I've cleaned the ports and resetted it a couple dozen times but nothing. The fans are in a loop of mildy starting and stopping (I'll upload a video), and yes the 2 power cables are attached to the GPU (2x 6 pin). It's really weird since I tested the 6 pins and they work fine and onboard graphics works aswell. The GPU is a EVGA GTX 970.

Hey reader, I'm going on a lot of flights in the upcoming year and need some headphones to block out the noise of the plane and just get the music. I have a $220 budget and need some help: Right now I've been looking at these: Audio Technica ATH-ANC9 but have seen people saying that even the M50's do well enough for planes. I need help deciding what headphones to get within the budget. Thanks.

Tried HDMi and VGA on GPU and intergrated

Lights do turn on (power and hdd since mobo doesn't have lights) and there is no beeps
