  1. You will be right, its in the s340 case right down the bottom next to me SSDs, i will try get screws that hold the card correctly in place in the top slot and update you.
  2. The max temp it hit was 86C, and im not sure what RPM the fans hit but i think pretty high, ill upload a photo as soon as i can, got a few things to try that might help
  3. Hi, I bought myself an XFX DD R9 280x 3GB yesterday, plugged it in and booted up call of duty 4, of course all the drivers were installed.. At the menu the card was silent, but I started the first level of the campaign and it sounded like a hairdryer... is this because I put the card in the bottom slot of my motherboard? Since the top slots screw holes arent holding the card in place properly, I'd rather be safe than sorry.. Any suggestions? Any tools the slow the fans down maybe? Thanks
  4. script kid? been working with Linux for the past year at my work in the security team, were creating Kali VM's for testing our own security so its time i learn how to use it, so pipe down

  11. Hey.. Recently my GTX 970 broke and the warranty had run out.. I didn't want to buy another since the 1080 & 1070's are on their way, so I saw a deal on a gaming page on Facebook for 2 GTX 770's, for £180 (GBP) what at performance increase/decrease am I to expect? I'm running on 2 1080p monitors, only use one for gaming though, thanks
  12. Hi! Does unraid require any CPU cores? I plan to do 2 gamers 1 cpu, but need to decide on which CPU to use - depends on if unraid needs a core or two..
