  1. So to come full circle, and to answer my own question, you're all saying that I should save a little more, or wait for Black Friday and buy the r9 390 as opposed to the 4gb 380? Sorry for asking so many questions, I just wanna be sure that I'm getting the most out of my hard earned cash. Thanks for being so awesome guys
  2. sorry that ws a typo, I fixed it, it's supposed to be 400$
  3. Hey guys, I had one last quick question before finalizing my pc build. Here in Canada, the GTX 970 is about 400$, while the 4gb r9 380 is around 300$. Is the extra 100$ REALLY worth the extra performance at 1080p? I'll be playing the upcoming Black Ops 3, GTA V and a couple other popular games like CS:GO and Grid 2. Should I save 100$ and spend the extra cash on some games? Or should I splurge and get the more powerful yet more expensive GPU? Pairing the GPU with an i5 4460 and 8gb of RAM.
  4. Would the GTX 970 be worth the extra 150$? I'm in Canada BTW which may be why prices are wonky, the r9 380 (4gb) is actually cheaper than the r9 280x. I don't wnat to spend more then I absolutely HAVE to.
  5. Hey guys, I'm looking to get a new GPU for an upcoming build, and don't want to spend too much on decent 1080p performance. I was debating the r9 380 (4gb), the r9 280x and the rumored 380x. Which would get me the best 1080p performance for my dollar? I'll be playing mainly CoD, GTA V, and other popular games. I'll be pairing the GPU with an i5 4460 and 8gb of RAM.
  6. Hey all, I'm building a new pc real soon, and am stuck on which cpu to buy. In Canada, the i5 4460 is only 10 dollars more than the FX 8350, I was wondering which will be the better deal. I'll be doing equal parts editing and gaming. Pairing it with a gtx 970 gpu.
