Can you get to 4.3 with an air cooler? -

When I was finalizing my overclock I ran the Gooseberry benchmark on Blender and my CPU hit 86C at full load I do wanna push it further, above 4GHz, for now I want to make myself familiar with those temps cause I don't feel that good -

Ok, even if I'm not feeling safe with those temps, can I try to push for 4GHz? -
Hello people, I just recently finished my build and I'm wondering if my temps are on the high side. While gaming I'm getting 60-68C on more demanding games and about 55-63 on lighter games. I'm 100% sure that my cooler makes good contact with the CPU. I'm idling at around 38-45C and while browsing it can hit 50C. Do I need to get a new CPU cooler, and if yes can I have some recommendations CPU : AMD Ryzen 5 2600 @3,8Ghz 1,28V w/ Wraith Stealth Mobo : Asrock B450M Pro4 Ram : G.Skill Aegis 2x8GB @3200 16-18-18-38 GPU : MSI GTX 970 Gaming 4GB @ +160MHz core +500MHz mem

right now my system is pretty cool due to low tdp components, i do plan to have an upgrade in the future tho, but i mostly like it to be silent and decently cool, im ok with over 60C on cpu and gpu on 70-90% load. so some nuctua's silent fan or the new coolermaster silencio?
-
good, my mobo doesnt support pwm but i think that a pwm fan header would fit a regular mobo fan header, what fans do you recommend, high airflow or silent?
-
yeah i know, in my opinion the positive air pressure work better, the front is filtered, i m just asking if i move the fan to the front is it gonna help with the noise? its gonna be some weeks before i buy fans tho

Hello, i start noticing that my only fan, its a rear exhaust fan ,is ramping up a lot, if i turn it down the system get too hot and the cpu and gpu fans start to ramp up. So my question is should i change the fans position and make it a front intake fan until i get a a second for exhaust or wait until i buy one and put as a front intake. Just to clarify my problem is it get loud, my temps seem fine The front supports up to 2 120 mm fans and the rear is also 120 mm, not top mounted tray, my case is a cheap bitfenix. CPU: AMD A10 5800K @4.2 Ghz about 50-60 C under 100% load GPU MSI R7 250 2GB @1130 Mhz core and @980 mhz mem about 55-60 C under 100% load

No i havent got the falls update, and i really dont want to go back to win10 I am planning to get a used 970 but until then is something i can do to get a little more fps?
-
Hello everybody, i have just formated my hdd and i installed a fresh copy of windows 8.1 Industry pro (uni privilege). Everything is great compared to the windows 10 i had before. But my big issue is that wow has so shitty fps its not even funny. I was able to play on the 6th preset with about 40-60 fps, expect some deeps here and there, now i barely have over 30. CPU: AMD A10-5800K @4.1Ghz RAM: 8GB DDR3 @1866MHZ GPU: MSI Radeon R7 250 2GB @1130Mhz core and 980Mhz Memory Also i had the latest drivers for the GPU when i was playing on Windows 10 WOW is on version 7.3.2.25549

Do you think this a good upgrade? i mean is the 970 and the 4th gen cpus still hold up?

So, I’m getting my brother’s old pc, AMD a10-5800k 4 core, 8 gb of DDR3 ram and an AMD R7 250 2gb gpu, and I want to upgrade the gpu, I saw some deals for a 970 on the used market but in know the cpu will bottleneck the 970, but my main concern is that in the near future I’m thinks of get a z97 mobo and a 4th gen i5 or i7, so should I get the 970 now and have it bottlenecked, or get a 960 and go with the cpu/mobo upgrade anyway?
