I am looking to connect another Ubiquiti camera to my system however there are no ethernet ports near the area I want to set it up in. I was wondering if I plugged in a wifi extender/powerline kit with a LAN port that I could just connect that to the camera via a POE injector. Would this work or is there a better way to do this? I have recently occurred an issue where my charging case does not work unless it is plugged in. When unplugged the headphones do not register that they are in the case and do not turn off or charge however if I plug the case in this issue resolves. The moment I unplug the case however the problem reoccurs. I've tried cleaning the contacts, resetting the headphones to no avail. The headphone app reports everything is at 100% charge. Is there anything else I could try or if anyone else has had this problem before? I've had the headphones now for 3 years so I no longer have warranty on them. Any suggestions or have they finally given up the ghost? Cheers

I don't have easy access to the roof so any sort of long runs will be very visible. I just don't know how to run ethernet internally while making the runs look nice.

Not sure if I'm in the right place but need some advice on my Unifi Protect Setup. I am planning on installing a G3 Flex and an AI 360 camera and connecting it via a Cloud Key Gen 2. I understand that both cameras use PoE and that is okay but I believe they also need to be directly hardwired back into the network in for it to be able to be adopted and used. If this is the case all my cameras will be very far away from the Cloud Key and I don't feel like running many meters of ethernet cable so I was wondering if there is a work around to this? Cheers

So my screen broke on my Oneplus 3T and I want to recover the photos from it does anyone have an idea of how? I tried getting the screen replaced but the people who replaced the screen told me even with the new screen it is not working they told me it was a motherboard issue/logic issue. The phone still turns on (vibrates as if it was turning on) and the charging light turns on when I plug it in however my pc does not recognise the phone. Any ideas? Thanks

I am having an issue where when I scroll down with my mouse wheel sometimes it will start moving up before down or sometimes during scrolling it will randomly scroll up before continuing going down. This also happens when I scroll up. My mouse wheel moves normally and doesn't get stuck when I move it. Would this be a mechanical issue and is there a fix for it? Thanks My mouse is a Logitech G403

I have recently been having issues where my monitor just blacks out during use. I have had the monitor for about 5 years. I have occurred this issue mainly when watching youtube or netflix where my monitor will just black out but I can still hear the audio. Sometimes it will fix itself after a minute or two but other times I have to fully shut down my pc and turn off the power at the wall before it comes back. Sometime it takes a couple tries before it gets a signal again. Normally once it blacks out it tells me there is no signal. What could the issue be or is my monitor dying?

So my old one is a standard SSD and I am buying a M.2 Drive. I asked before and someone recommended just a fresh install of Windows. I was thinking about migrating or something along those lines but I am not sure what would be the best way (like program wise) to do so.

So I have a new drive and I have decided that I will be installing a fresh copy of windows on it and installing it into my pc. However, my SSD which I previously installed Windows on has all my desktop icons and my HDD is the main storage drive for my downloads, documents and videos folders. How would I go about relocating them? As in like moving my desktop icons etc to my new drive while still linking them to the program they are suppose to open? Thanks

I recently brought a m.2 drive and want to make it my primary boot drive. Is there any way to move Windows from my existing boot drive to my m.2 or do I have to just reinstall windows? Thanks

So I have noticed an issue with my bluetooth headphones (WF-1000XM3) when connected to my laptop (Pro 7). When I watch youtube videos the audio coming through my headphones is always stuttering. I have narrowed it down to it being an issue with the wireless card in the laptop as this issue only occurs when I am connected to my 2.4GHz network and not my 5GHz network. Is there anything I can do to solve this issue? Thanks

I added my printer via 'Printers and Scanners' however when I did this my printer started to print inverted (White Text, Black Background). Does anyone know why this is? I found the fix for it by reinstalling my printer via the manufacturer website but I was curious why this would happen and if there was a way to prevent this. Thanks

I am in the market for a new laptop. My current front-runner is the Surface Pro 7 and I am searching for alternatives. I will only be using it to do office tasks and media consumption however I need the laptop to be very portable and therefore I like the Surface line as it is a hybrid/detachable (laptop and tablet when needed), has a detachable keyboard and has a pen which I like very much. I have looked at 360 Hinge laptops but my previous experiences with them aren't great (mainly display issues). I have also looked at an iPad setup but I am not a huge fan of the physical keyboard and I would prefer something with a full fat OS. Does anyone have any recommendations? Thanks

There is a few apps I need for work/education that aren't developed for Android or poorly ported

I am looking to buy a new phone specifically between the iPhone 7 Plus, 8 Plus and XR. I was wondering which would be a better value? I can get a second hand 7 Plus ~$700-800, 8 Plus ~$800-900 and XR Brand New $1,399. I was wondering if it would be worth it to go for the XR although my finances might take a hit but it's newer and better or go all the way to the low end with the 7 Plus. The 8 Plus looks good but I feel its in a limbo between the 7 and XR and would like another opinion. I currently have an Android and am switching to iOS for many reasons but mainly work/education so please don't recommend an Android. What would everyone here pick? Thanks

How loud does the fan get under normal use cases like word processing and media consumption? If I use it in a classroom will it annoy the people I sit next to?
