  1. Thanks for the link. I will just do a fresh install and try and find my saved game data later.
  2. Yeah I was hoping to transfer everything.. My highscore of 10 Million points is still on there haha
  3. I just found a really old computer and booted it up and it had windows xp with Full Tilt pinball.. Space Cadet.. I loved this game as a kid and want to copy the files to run it on my Win8 or Win10 OS... Does anyone know where all of the files are located?
  4. Hi. I bought this new Asus X205TA-HAT m0103 netbook and need to upgrade to Windows 10. The ssd is only 32gigs so I don't have enough memory to upgrade it until I remove the Recovery partition (10gigs). I have already backed up the partitons but I haven't ever used windows 8 or had a secure bios so I need to know how to boot from USB and disable the security stuff. I'm a linux guy so nothing is really too hard for me to do, I just want to save some time and have someone help me really quickly. Thanks in advance. Oh btw when I open diskpart to delete the recovery partition, all I get is a help option.. Not the regular option to shrink or delete partition. I'm thinking I could probably make a Gparted live USB and delete it that way.. What do you guys think?
  5. Ok. I have only had this netbook for a few hours and haven't even checked the partitions yet. I went straight into downloading the win 10 update. I didn't even know there was a hibernation partition. I'll see how much space it's using.
  6. I just bought a new netbook with a 32gb ssd. It asked to install windows 10 from 8.1 but needed an extra 9 gigs of space.. There are no programs big enough to remove to get that space.. Can I use a usb drive to finish the install and then remove it later, or will I need to delete the big recovery partition and start from there.. It's new, so I'm not really wanting to wipe the whole drive and do a fresh install that way.. What are my best options? Asus EeeBook X205TA-HAT m0103
  7. Sorry I have one more question.. I would like to add some more usb ports to the empty dvd drive bay. How would I go about doing that? I read that I can buy some kind of Pcie Adapter if my new Mobo doesn't have the 3 pin plug. Also, can I use 3.0 with the motherboard you suggested?
  8. I think that's about all I'm willing to pay for this computer. Thanks for the help.
  9. I've already upgraded the ram to 8 gb. I run Ubuntu 14.04 and I'm learning how to program. I use it for watching movies, lots of multi tasking, like music.. security webcams. Multiple browser tabs open. Skype, Coding.. Pen testing.. I know I need a new Psu to handle a new GPU. It has a weak 250 watt crapper. lol What would be the best MOBO to throw in this thing and budget GPU without spending too much money on this old rig?
  10. Since everyone hates the idea that I want to build an AMD based machine on this forum... What would be the best upgrade for my 5 year old hp p6654y? I'd like to get a new Gpu, a new Psu and maybe a new MOBO.. It already works for what I use it for, but I would like to upgrade it a bit. I'm not a gamer, so that won't be an issue. I only want to spend a couple hundred bucks.. Then maybe I will just buy a used Intel machine so everyone will stop hating on me. Thanx.
  11. I'm looking for help choosing a case most importantly and AMD parts.. Thanks for your opinion, but I really want to try Amd because I'm on a budget. I'm not building a high end pc here. I've read the arguments about AMD and Intel for days. I'm using a 5 year old Hp and it works pretty good for my needs, So anything in the range of what I'm building is going to be a huge difference to me. I can't spend the extra $200 bucks to build an Intel machine right now. If it turns out that I hate it.. then I will build Intel next time.
  12. The xeon is rated 7.2 and the Fx 8350 is rated at 6.9 on CpuBoss. Not that big of a difference. I have done my research and I have my heart set on building an AMD machine for my first build.. Remember, this isn't for gaming.
  13. I'm building my first pc for multi-tasking. I still can't decide on what case to get but do know what I need. ( No Rosewill cases) -Has to be 8 inches or more wide for 212 Evo heat sink. -Two or three 5.25 bays. One for DVD drive, the other for front fan controls and maybe something else cool.. idk yet. -One bay for ssd and another for 1 tb hd. -One or more front usb 3.0 ports. I have lots of webcams and usb accessories. -More vents the better, I can make my own filter if needed. Two built in fans or ability to add more... Nothing flashy. -Mid tower to full size.. I don't care if it's big. I really like the HAF 912 but it doesn't have front 3.0 usb..And I really like the Fractal R4. -I would prefer the power button to be on the front because I have a cat lol. Can extra usb ports be added to a 5.25 bay?. -Should I go for the gtx 750ti or will something cheaper work for my needs? I would like to game some, but it's not the main goal for this build. I might play GTA 5 and COD. So basically I'm open to suggestions on the case, video card, PSU and CPU. I'm on a budget and have been doing research for a month on my parts and there are just so many options for a first time builder like me. This rig will be running Ubuntu 14.04 LTS and a small partition for Windows. Is the amd fx 8350 or fx 6300 a better choice for video editing, music production, streaming webcams, running multiple programs.. etc. 8 cores just sounds so much better than 6 I need the MOBO and pcu to last for years before I have to upgrade. I would like to spend around $75 US on the case. I will be ordering the Case, Cpu and Power supply first. Link for my parts http://pcpartpicker.com/p/WNX4Lk Thank you so much for reading and helping me out with this.. Please don't respond just to tell me to use Intel because AMD is junk. Non biased answers only please.. Preferably from people older than 18

    Chimp Change Scam?

I never thought for a minute that I was actually going to do this, or fall for it.. I just wanted to know how it worked. I have enough street smarts to know that there is NO easy ways to make money like that.

    Chimp Change Scam?

Sorry. I was just curious to how it all works. I have never scammed anyone before. I understand now after reading about pyramid schemes. Thanks
