  1. You are looking for a WAV or MP3 decoder circuit. There are some cheap ones at the bay. Just add a small switch as a trigger to play the sound at power button press or combine it with a microcontoller
  2. Sorry, but no chance to get it up and running with that Pentium n CPU. Not a big deal on Notebooks with Core CPUs though...
  3. And another example why tonymacx86 sucks... Your board is totally fine, just needs some adjustment to be done. If you do a system update now everything will break. Better don't waste your time with tonys tools like UniBeast and MultiBeast, as they often aren't up-to-date, aren't open source and hardcode changes to the system - which causes it to break after updating. Better use the included installmediacreate tool from Apple and Clover to inject the changes and kernel extensions at bootup. And for audio there is a much cleaner solution out there tonymacx86 seems to ignore for no reason - AppleALC.kext is an extension that lets OS X and macOS reuse the original AppleHDA.kext by just injecting the needed informations about your audio codec ALC887. With that you will end up with an update safe solution. This Thread will get closed soon, as it violates the forum rules. Feel free to contact me via pm for support. Or head over to insanelymac.com, as the guys there are way more advanced than tony...
  4. There is no legal way to achieve this in your country. OS X 10.11 EULA §B: Thanks to §N in some countries you can ignore parts of this EULA, since e.g. within the EU it is illegal for companies to bind software to their hardware products. So over here it is totally legal and NOT AGAINST Apple's EULA to install OS X to a not Apple branded Computer or a VM that is not running on a real Mac, but you still have to get OS X from legal sources, that is only the AppStore (download it on a legal OS X installation). And you also need a license for it, otherwise it would also be piracy. Over here you own a license by buying a OS X (10.6) DVD for 20 bucks from Apple or if you own a NOT USED Mac that could run OS X. I'm sorry, but this exception doesn't apply to you, as you live within the US. They allow hardware-software binding.
  5. insanelymac.com - the best (englisch) hackintosh community out there
  6. I see no problem there. CPU and GPU are supported just fine, as Mac natively supports a wide variety of AMD GPUs. Onboard Sound should also run without any problems with injected AppleALC.kext Just don't use Tony's MultiBeast crap, as it often causes issues with the OS. Better use a clean solution like Clover UEFI Bootloader to inject drivers during boot. I also can't recommend tonymacx86.com - better get some help here or by the awesome communities at insanelymac.com or hackintosh-forum.de
  7. Best (and only) way to get a legal version of OS X is to buy it from Apple. You can just buy a OS X Snow Leopard DVD directly from the Apple Store website. Use the latest version of iBoot to install from the disk to VirtualBox or VMware, install the free Update to 10.6.8 to get access to the AppStore and then get your legal and free copy of OS X El Capitan. This way you have a cheap and legal way to start your Project and you can be 100% sure you are not having a modified and vulnerable system as you often get by using one of these hacked and illegal distros out there.
  8. What version of Windows are you running? Does Explorer work properly in safe mode?
  9. What have you tried so far? Tried to manually add explorer.exe to autostart?
  10. The problem here is Explorer, not Internet Explorer.
  11. You can simply set the layout of one folder as system default in the view options
  12. Alright. Please format your USB (8GB+) again as HFS+/GUID with a name like "USB". Then open Terminal and run: sudo /Applications/Install\ OS\ X\ El\ Capitan.app/Contents/Resources/createinstallmedia --volume /Volumes/USB --applicationpath /Applications/Install\ OS\ X\ El\ Capitan.app Just make sure /Volumes/USB matches the name of the partition. Then simply follow the instructions and wait. This should take 10-20min
  13. Ok. UniBeast is by far not the cleanest solution. To make sure, that the data on USB is not a problem please create it again. Have you downloaded El Capitan from the AppStore on your VM? It should be visible as Install OS X El Capitan in /Applications/
  14. What OS X version are you using? How did you create the bootable USB? Do you have access to a real Mac?
  15. In the Clover Bootscreen please press spacebar on your USB, then select verbose mode. this boots OS X with hidden logo, showing more information on what's going on. you probably won't have any idea on what's happening, but the text will get stuck somewhere - this is where the progress bar would stop moving. Please post a screenshot here to let me see what the issue might be.
