    So my Windows 8 had been popping up with a screen saying that my windows was activated correctly and I email iBuyPower (at the time I didn't know enough or have enough time to build my own computer), but they said that i need to use the windows 8 reset and I didn't wanna delete all my game at the time. I was changing up my set up the other day and have some free time to do it so, I tried it and now when I started the computer i don't have the metro start screen or a "desktop' or taskbar. So far the only thing I have found out is it can do is RUN COMMANDS and have the file system, and I got internet access and i thought maybe window updater would work but now it is stuck in failure to start windows loop. Does anyone know what's happening, or have a idea to fix it. P.S. i tried creating a usb install drive but the windows key doesn't work with that either.... Thanks for any idea you can give me!

    I know this mite sound excessive but I planned on buy mechanical keyboard something like the razer blackwidow tournament edition just something i can though in my bag and have that if i really need to do any heavy typing because using anything else just feels...dirty??

    I know that the Macs in generally aren't good for gaming but I have a gaming desktop for that. I want something I can't take with me that will have enough power to do mid-range stuff so I am kinda leaning for the Air because of the price but Retina has the power and beauty(screen res)...where the razer so a ton of power but has a "lackluster" screen ....from what I have heard anyway.

Retina - specs - 15-inch - i7 2.4GHz(quad) - 16GB memory - 256GB storage -GT 650m (1GB) Price $2400 Air - Specs -13-inch -i7 1.7GHz(dual)(haswell) -8GB memory - 512GB storage Price $1850 Blade - specs -14-inch -i7 2.2GHz(quad)(haswell) -8GB memory -512GB storage -GTX 765m (2GB) Price - $2300 I don't know if this help any, these are the planned specs if i got any of these computers, the Apples will have a -$200 because I am a student, i didn't see anything about that on razer's site. (I mite have just missed it) So the biggest thing that popped out to me is that with the Air i would have basically $500 extra to get my "peripherals" because i know i going to get a case or some no matter what so that help. And i just wanna say thanks to everyone that has replied and very little bit helps!

    I am go to major in Physics but I wanna take some programming and animation/illustration classes down the road, which make me wonder if I should wait till I take the classes in case there is a new (better) Pro or Blade, and get something like the Air for my day to day stuff.

    Okay, I'm about to start college and I need a new laptop. I have a gaming desktop already, so I am not worried about how good the gaming is on the this computer (but it couldn't hurt). I have been looking about the MacBook Pro Retina and the Razer Blade 14' as the two power house options, and the MBPR is only slightly more with the specs I picked. The MacBook Air (2013) looks like it could handle most of the stuff I need to to and then there is the acer s7-392-9890 which is about the same price, and power but does seem as nicely built... not to say it is bad, but, for the money i wanna something that looks the part as well. I have read several review on all of these but cant decide, if anyone can give me some help or suggest something else, it would be a lot of help. Thank You
