  1. I feel ok about my management. The case is pretty fantastic for it anyway https://pcpartpicker.com/b/LHtJ7P
  2. I found the problem. It was some AVG bullshit. I thought AVG was supposed to clean crap on your computer, not be the crap. But I got a tool similar to Explorer but with more features, it found it.
  3. Oh I meant as in the problem wasn't caused by an update as there wasn't an update right before the problem started. I have automatic updates on.
  4. There is literally no way to use it. I tried putting it on a flash drive then running it, it didn't work. I tried immediately deleting a large, unwanted file then downloading it, that didn't work.
  5. Under "Virtual memory" somewhere under control panel, it says, "Total paging file size for all drives: 852 MB" I really don't know what would be using that much ram as nothing I do day-to-day uses over my 8 GB. I'm not much of a multitasker
  6. ummmm.... noooo (sarcastic laughing)
  7. I dunno, Windows has been fine since May when I made the computer and no windows updates were done recently. I also really don't want to lose my stuff, that is like a last resort, no one on any forum knows type of thing.
  8. Only 852 MB of those
  9. Done that, nothing showed up
  10. No space to take the picture . Yes Windirstat and Explorer both say I have used just 102 gb. (At least when highlighting everything in the drive and clicking properties) However, when clicking on "this pc" in explorer, it says the c drive has 0 bytes empty. Windirstat is showing nothing that wasn't there before the problem happened
  11. I have tried clearing system restore files, deleting useless crap, emptying the recycle bin, turning it off and on again, unplugging and re-plugging the drive, making sure TRIM is enabled, things like hiberfyl.sys aren't the culprit, and I've looked on Windows Explorer for just hidden files. NONE OF THEM HAVE WORKED!! I have a 250 gb ssd. I have only 102 gb of stuff on it. This is according to Explorer and windirstat. However, something else keeps filling that extra space. I used to have about 120 gb of stuff on it, deleted some of the stuff, the space was freed, and then it filled again within 30 seconds. I have literally 0 bytes of free space left and DO NOT want to re-format the drive or wipe it clean. I have looked at some of the other forum posts on filling drives but none of the solutions have worked.
  12. Thanks for the help. This is a list i will definitely need to keep in mind
  13. Unfortunately, his mind is set on that corsair heat spreader (I don't know why) and thanks for showing me to that psu. I'll change that
  14. Oh I had no idea that there were 390's that cheap.
  15. Purple fans on a black and red themed case? We were going to a bit of modding, too
