  1. http://www.amazon.com/Superlux-HD668B-Dynamic-Semi-Open-Headphones/dp/B003JOETX8 these be good?
  2. Well bass isn't necessary either I suppose. Some of the music I listen to is dubstep but that's what my car stereo is for right
  3. That sounds like a good and also bad thing for my intended use. It's a... neutral thing. boom still got it. I think I want some bass
  4. Those look pretty nice, good reviews on Amazon as well. I just wish I could listen to what all of these sound like. Also Sennheiser 439s
  5. I've been hunting for headphones for the past few days on Amazon and there's just way too many options and opinions on all of them. I've gotten to the point where I'm almost stressing out if I continue to look. It's time I make MY OWN forum post. So here's what I'm looking for.. Budget: $30-$70 (Somewhat flexible) Closed back over ear headphones NOT A HEADSET (I have Blue Snowball setup These will be used for probably 70% gaming and 30% listening to music on the couch. I often play CS:GO, MOBA games, and any other fun steam games, so it varies. Headphones that are good at directional positioning would be preferred, but not necessary. Thanks to any suggestions, I'm looking forward to what you guys have to say. As much as I'd love to get the Sennheiser HD 598, it's not in my budget. I've thought about the Sennheiser HD 202 II's, or the Audio-Technica ATH M20x/M40x (heard these are more for editing/mixing though [not gaming?]). Opinions welcome
  6. Thanks for the reply. I'll be getting the GPU as soon as tax returns
  7. I was hoping it's as simple as the GPU, I guess I'll just have to wait until I get it. The anticipation is just killing me, though.
  8. The game runs at decent fps, not great but decent. Is my only concern pretty much just the GPU then?
  9. This model does. I was planning on getting the 1231 v3 but that one didn't have integrated graphics. and I had a limited amount of money and had to put off the graphics card for a little bit, but I wanted to be able to use my new computer. So i went with the more expensive one with integrated graphics
  10. I also have this link here: http://www.asrock.com/mb/Intel/H97M%20Pro4/?cat=Download&os=Win1064 it's a link for drivers for my motherboard. My motherboard obviously came with the install cd, but my tower doesn't support a cd drive, and figured I could just download the drivers I needed from here. I did not download all of them. Would any of these make a difference?
  11. I couldn't see any subforum that this topic would fit better in, so here goes. I recently put together my new build that's intended to be for streaming, gaming, photoshop and such. My problem lies here: http://www.twitch.tv/xtratoothpaste/v/46360044 I'm not sure if I need to change settings in OBS, or if I need better hardware (which would make no sense, since the cpu is up-to-date, or so I thought). The fps I'm getting is pretty lacking. Playing the game itself I'm not getting great fps, and the stream is even worse. I did a bit of research, and found that graphics cards don't make a huge difference in streaming, and the cpu handles most of the load. Here's the build: PCPartPicker part list / Price breakdown by merchant CPU: Intel Xeon E3-1246 V3 3.5GHz Quad-Core Processor (Purchased For $0.00) Motherboard: ASRock H97M PRO4 Micro ATX LGA1150 Motherboard (Purchased For $0.00) Memory: Kingston HyperX Fury Black 16GB (2 x 8GB) DDR3-1600 Memory (Purchased For $0.00) Storage: Samsung 850 EVO-Series 250GB 2.5" Solid State Drive (Purchased For $0.00) Storage: Western Digital Caviar Blue 1TB 3.5" 7200RPM Internal Hard Drive (Purchased For $0.00) Video Card: MSI Radeon R9 390 8GB Video Card ($323.98 @ Newegg) Case: Fractal Design Define S w/Window ATX Mid Tower Case (Purchased For $0.00) Power Supply: SeaSonic S12G 650W 80+ Gold Certified ATX Power Supply (Purchased For $0.00) Total: $323.98 Prices include shipping, taxes, and discounts when available Generated by PCPartPicker 2016-02-17 02:03 EST-0500 Keep in mind, the graphics card has not yet been purchased, and I am using integrated graphics. I was assuming that was the problem, but after the research I was just thinking that maybe it was something else. Any ideas or suggestions that I should look into? Thank you to anyone who reads this and attempts to help me out
  12. We tried the paperclip test on two different power supplies and it didn't work for some reason. We had it put into the right wires. But with his powersupply the computer turned on so... Not quite sure.
  13. So I finally got my build in that I've been waiting to do for years! Had my friend and I put it all together, press the power button and........ Nothing! WOOHOOOO. We're pretty sure my SeaSonic S12G power supply came in DOA. -----------.........-----------
